Still, this is the most glamorous fight to be made at 115. Winner could then go for Franco, or Ioka/Nietes or SSR/Bam. Such a loaded division with great fights that it's really hard to go wrong.

I’m all for it. Gonzalez-Estrada 3 is bigger than a world title.

It'll still be for the franchise title I suppose

It's a world championship fight. It's for the lineal, TBRB, Ring Magazine championships. The belts are titles, a championship is something more and that's what this fight is.

I was referring directly to the WBA title Estrada will likely be vacating to fight Gonzalez.

I doubt Estrada cares about keeping the WBA belt at this point. Chocolatito and Ryungivai trilogies are the money fights.

This would be the second time that 'El Gall' refused to consolidate the WBA, the first time was at 112 vs. Kazuto Ioka, now with the other 'Regular' champion at 115 Joshua Franco.

It would seem that these second tier titles hardly ever unify, and all they create is more chaos. Now you got the 'Franchise' at 115, along with Jesse 'Bam' Rodriquez, ironically he is the brother of Franco ; two tier ''world-champs'' -- or are they?

So I wonder if Joshua Franco will be awarded the WBA championship? I feel that its wrong to keep him as the 'Regular' champ just like Kazuto Ioka at 112, so thanks for that Juan Francisco, you created two 'world-champs' now, what a joke!
