Dubois is fighting for the secondary title next, Joyce is in the middle of nothing. Parker is clearly waiting on Whyte payday.

Parker is also a promotional free agent who is looking for a multi-fight deal & he has no shortage of suitors. I suggest a google search “Parker vs Joyce”… Parker is still in the gym & just finished recent camp with Tyson Fury leading up to the Whyte fight. No trainer until later this summer & no promoter at the moment. He has made a lot of money so he isn’t in any rush to replace Andy Lee. I wouldn’t be surprised if Parker ends up signing with Warren…
Mad how Andy Lees wife didn’t realise she was pregnant until about 6-7 months in isn’t it

Parker is just playing the smart game here unfortunately, Joyce is high risk low reward.

Joyce is going to find this a big issue moving forward, he's 37 in a few months, most of these guys are going to be thinking, he's only got 1 or 2 years left at his best, so why would I fight him now.

        He's the new Luis Ortiz.

It's a sensible move tbh, however cynical.

          This.

          Joyce is losing his prime.

You need a few top fights over a year and a half, for a shot at retiring as undefeated &/or one of the top guys of the era.

37 soon and the big fights still aren't really coming.

His best hope is getting 1 or 2 top guys before fading and retiring. More time goes on without much progress, the shorter his window of opportunity.

Wach, Kevin Johnson, Hammer or Forrest would be
the likely choices but Kingpin & Hammer have fights tomorrow. Maybe Iago Kiladze or Carlos Negron?
Oh yeah, interesting small heavyweight event in Germany. I will try to watch it.

I feel for Joyce on one hand, but his big mistake really was leaving it so late to turn pro, I understand he wanted to go to an Olympics, but if you don't get to one by your late 20s, that really should be it if you want a good pro career.

He was a bit unlucky because of covid as well, but now he's well and truly in the who needs him club, and instead of calling out AJ who is obviously signed up he should be calling out everyone.

He should have been screaming hrgovic name from the rooftops when everyone was ducking him

It’s like these posters live in an alternate universe or something . That’s one of the weirdest excuses I’ve ever heard and some on here find it legit .

I honestly think Joyce should of stayed with David Haye.
DDD is fighting for a mandatory spot with a fake lable created by the WBA which no casual fan would understand.

Joyce is the actual WBO mandatory he has been for well over 6 months .

The only reason he’s not fighting for the unified titles yet or announced is postponements because of what happened in Ukraine so he is staying busy .

All the other articles only say Warren claimed the baby thing. Higgins & Parker never once said anything about the baby. They said they were exploring options with other major promoters before signing a multi-fight deal with Warren. Warren is the only one claiming this baby thing whereas Team Parker have not said anything about it. Only they are exploring options.
So you think Warren just pulled it out of the air and team Parker along with Higgins own statements wouldn’t think that’s strange ?

Im not going to entertain this thing ,it’s silly . I just showed you Warren just the other day May 20th stating he was trying to get the fight over the line so he just randomly made up the baby thing as a cause to why the fight fell through and he didn’t get that information anywhere it just came to him that Lee wouldn’t be available because his wife may give birth that week that day and despite dozens of articles saying the same thing team Parker has not denied any statements to be untrue ?

He said: “Providing our man wins, then we’re on, we’ll do it, absolutely.

“It’s not our fault, we wanted the fight, Joe wanted the fight.

“Unfortunately it’s Joe Parker who’s not available.”

Parker has time to fight Whyte but not Joyce is what makes no sense at all I’m not sure you realize how irrational that is but oh well . And I put DAZN link to show that . I don’t think you get it I don’t think you want to .
