Yildrim Plant, Saunders, Rocky, Smith, Noodles ---> all cherries. They thought Bivol was a cherry too due to 2 recent bad performances and at 19 pro fights you lack high level experience. Cheery gone wrong.
Canelo was a teenager when he was at welterweight, and by the time he was the same age as Boots, he was already too big fighting at 154lbs for years and had moved up to 160lbs.

In other words, Canelo was naturally higger than Boots.

But I do see Boots fighting at 168lbs easy.

It all depends on how quickly he can get opportunities to fight the fights he wants to fight.

      • I am not even sure Canelo beats Andrade at 168.

I am, Andrade will fold as soon Canelo catches up to him probably about 6 rounds, Andrade is not what a lot of fans think he is hyped as this elite boxer he hasn't fought anybody and gone 12 with some B C level guys., he is ok but he looks hollow to me I don't see any dog in him that's needed in those elite matches, I think nobody at the top wants to fight him because he stinks the arena out and brings nothing to the table

          • Canelo could very well be right, but it wont be believed until there is an impressive return at 168 if he struggles then he may very well be on his slide out of boxing.

The big fight for him is Benavidez, he needs to take it after GGG, a win there would put him on top of boxing.

            • Delusional cheater won't even talk about the fact that he literally wanted to try to weight drain a heavyweight named Usyk and said he could beat him. Dude is just a ***in chode.

                • Camelot is delusional. He takes fights he knows he can win. He aged out ggg. Three times now. He waited around fighting nobodies until the WBC used the missed weight during COVID to strip DB. Suddenly Canelo wanted to fight all title holders. He didn’t want DB. He ducked Charlo and Andrade because he can’t age them out the same. And that’s why he will never fight DB because that guy can play the same weight bully aged out Bs.

Even Caneo knows Andrade embarrasses him. He won’t even say dudes name unless it’s to save “Never Andrade.”

He was already rehydrating to 170 (vs Lara, Angelo, and trout) when he was in his early 20s. He doesn’t fight at 160 because he can’t make it. I remember when he dropped the belt to duck GGG because he was too “small”, but then he fought Chavez Jr at 164.5… what kind of logic is that?
At 5'8 really 5'7.5 180 or 190 pounds is considered over weight and unhealthy, he let his body blow up like that eating all that street meat. Spence walks around closer to 180 himself and Crawford around 170lbs yet they make 147...

When Canelo fought Bivol he was clearly too small and looked like someone who should be at 160 to 168 max it's not even debatable..Bivol would make Canelo look small at 168 as well.. Hell Benavidez would make Canelo look small, Benevidez probably walks around closer to 200 pounds but where is he fighting at?

Canelo not keeping up with his body is on him and like i said as he ages when he does try to go back to 168 the wear and tear will only become more and more obvious because that too much weight for his little frame, contrary to belief Canelo is not a big man, he lets himself get fat. the guy could barely move or get out of the way at 175
