All of this talk, but I do hear of any negotiations or contracts being tossed around. I'm starting to think neither guy wants to fight.

Unfortunately your analysis fits the pattern. Sucks but you're probably right.

It looks the same as it does when Canelo was hopping around in weight to avoid Andrade and later, Benavidez. Same as when Tank Davis was doing it to avoid Loma. I'm not saying Bud is avoiding Boots. I don't believe he is. I'm just saying fighters should clean out their own division b4 moving up, so there can be no discussion in history that they avoided certain fighters
Speaking from a fans point of view, I agree but the problem is this, when guys like Spence and Crawford spend YEARS building up their value. They don’t want to make LESS money fighting someone who hasnt much value, whose just starting out. It’s like getting pay checks from working as a brain surgeon, then some know it all fan comes up to you and tells you that your DUCKING Walmart.

Well said and Bud isn't going to ask for franchise belt to avoid anyone. Crawford was undisputed at 140, probably 147 if Spence doesn't find a way out and then at 154. At least it's not 160 so the Boots fight can very well happen. Charlo is going to hype the Tzyu fight then someone else.. Crawford would have to become a mandatory to get Charlo to drop a belt and continue uhtil Charlo fights him or goes to another weight class. There will definitely be some windows for that fight to happen.

Notice how Charlo had a clip showing his house and said champion life style or somthing like that... Charlo is maturing, but still fragile. I don't see Bud leaving 147 completely behind until he's undisputed at 154.

So Crawford is 34 years old, his best win is Shawn Porter and folks already have him undisputed at 154.

              Ok...

Well Crawford isn't a career WW. He's a multi division champ. Whereas all Spencer has done is struggle with Thurman leftovers

That's a weird thing to say Bud, since you're suing your former promoter! I believe you actually said not getting the Spence fight was part of the problem?

Terence Crawford accuses Bob Arum of 'bias favoring white and Latino fighters' in lawsuit against Top Rank

Crawford, 34, is seeking damages to be determined at trial in excess of $5.4 million, money the fighter claims he lost due to Top Rank's failure to deliver a second fight in year two of the extension he signed in 2018, along with its inability to offer him a bout with Errol Spence Jr.

The suit claims that when Crawford signed to fight Egidijus Kavaliauskas in 2019, the agreement included a $900,000 payment if Top Rank didn't in good faith offer Crawford a bout with Spence by the end of 2020.

"It is unfortunate that Top Rank did not treat Terence properly and in fact spoke out regularly against him," Crawford's attorney, Bryan Freedman, told ESPN.

                    https://www.espn.com/boxing/story/_/...wsuit-top-rank

AND...remember, it was Crawford who specifically said the fight wasn't going to happen, "60-40 to me or NO FIGHT!", he's thinking about "other things", etc.

                    Also, for NSB:

Note that your guy is now talking in the third person. So I expect you to now trash him like you did with other fighters who did/do that.
