Canelo is going to hand ggg his 1st ko loss and retire that cowardly ducker for good, but he definitely needs to run it back with bivol.

When fans wanted the 3rd fight after Canelo’s controversial win, Canelo said the chapter was closed and tried to pretend he won convincingly. Now a full 4 yrs later he must shut up a 40 yr old ggg. Lame ass. The only personal aspect of this to Canelo is that ggg called him a cheater because Canelo…well……got caught cheating.

I was really hoping GGG would not take this fight. He's 40+, and that's old for a boxer. And whether you like Canelo or don't, he's an excellent fighter with a chin like an engine block. But I guess GGG felt (justifiably) robbed by judges, especially in the first fight. At least now, Bivol has demonstrated the recipe for a resounding win over Canelo -- in and out a lot, control the distance, very tight guard, super high energy levels, and throw a lot of combinations. GGG has been a superb fighter for a long time, but it remains to be seen whether he actually can do what Bivol did, because that has not been GGG's style -- ever. The stamina required to sustain that energy level for 12 rounds is just phenomenal, and very few athletes in any sport could do it regardless of their endurance training. Can GGG? Most people including me way underestimated Bivol, so maybe GGG can also pull off something people don't expect. I sure hope so. And maybe that would put an end to the era of clenbuterol.

I don't care at all if it's personal or professional, I just want them to finish the trilogy. And hopefully GGG's body will be in the absolute best shape it can be at his advanced age.

Why is he so angry now? He wasn't angry after he lost the first 2 fights? Everyone on planet earth knows this is 3 years too late and one weight class too heavy. Their beef was at 160. Now a 40 yr old GGG is fighting at a weight he's never fought at once as a professional. Canelo has always been know for looking for advantages but this time it's really looking bad on him. But you know what? The Canelo fanboys will be out in full force. I can already see them . You think the state of boxing is f' d up, the state of boxing fans is just as bad.
