I got Calzaghe by UD.
Chad Dawson vs Joe Calzaghe at 175

Based on the performances of Dawson so far, Calzaghe would win.
The thing is, Dawson is still young and hasn't peaked yet. IMO he still relies a lot on he raw physical skills and athletic talent. If he can grow and learn, I'll think it over in a few years.Comment

Proof? Wasn't Lacy in his prime and undefeated when Joe beat him? Wasn't Byron Mitchell in his prime and rated high when he beat him? Wasn't Kessler in his prime and ranked just below Calzaghe himself when he beat him?

Uh...Dawson is an accurate puncher too and he threw above 800 punches in the Glen Johnson fight. Dawson has one of the fastest handspeed right now P4P IMO.Calzaghe wins. Dawson isn't constant enough to dampen the massive and accurate punch output of Calzaghe. Dawson breaks or backs up for too long, allowed Tarver somewhat into their fights, and Johnson of course.
If Joe had beat him he would not have got the praise from the harsh critics. Afterall Dawson's only wins have come against a weight drained Adamek, and an old Tarver and Johnson...sighComment

Dawson wouldn't fade in the middle rounds the way Hopkins did ( who was 43) and hes also much taller, faster and younger than Hopkins and has much more experience against southpaw's than Calzaghe does. Just something to think about.

Dawson will disapear when 41 year old Johnson beats him next fight(he already beat him in most people's minds).Comment

Calzaghe would win a decision.
Dawson would have his moments but would be overwhelmed by the pressure and punch output Calzaghe would be dishing out.Comment
Go and play somewhere else Pacboy.
Finally you and I are starting to find common ground.
Calzaghe would have problems with Dawson's speed at first, but then would neutralize him like he did to Hopkins. He'd see them punches coming from a mile away!
