Of course not. When Slappy schools him, takes his soul and leaves him for pickings he will be a 'hypejob' and will carry the knickname Chad "Left Hook Tyson III" Dawson.

Finally you and I are starting to find common ground. Calzaghe would have problems with Dawson's speed at first, but then would neutralize him like he did to Hopkins. He'd see them punches coming from a mile away!

Dawson is growing though.Ask me in 2 year time and I might change my answer.

This is a tough one to call I think Chad would need to be in excellent condition and get a little more experience but I think Chads the better fighter but Calzaghe is legit... I think it would be a very competitive fight

Calzaghe wins. Dawson isn't constant enough to dampen the massive and accurate punch output of Calzaghe. Dawson breaks or backs up for too long, allowed Tarver somewhat into their fights, and Johnson of course.

If Joe had beat him he would not have got the praise from the harsh critics. Afterall Dawson's only wins have come against a weight drained Adamek, and an old Tarver and Johnson...sigh

I think yes. Calzaghe needs at least a good name to claim any credibility. I mean he didn't fight nobody until their were in their 40's, he needs to fight someone game instead of making a fool out of himself showboating 40 year old Roy...

I would say yes too...Dawson is young, strong, quick and is a decent skilled boxer. Calzaghe would need to work a little more to get this victory.

I acutally met Dawson at the press conference, the guy has a serious arm reach...that might keep Calzaghe away from those pitty pat punches.
