However I would likely pump the brakes and give him at least one more year of experience with whoever he can get in the ring that is not Benavidez. Not saying he doesn't have a chance against him right now but it would be foolish to fight him this early from a career earnings perspective.

He holds a secondary title already so at some point he will be able to get his mandatory shot.

      good post man

Benavidez look to be a step too far at this point in time

if this fights happens, there will be 3 losers... Haymon, Morrell, and Benavidez

Don't know what this Morrell fella is so pissed about.
He's the one who started insulting Benavidez and his brother,
while David was peacefully calling out Plant/Charlo/Alvarez.
David gets back calling him a b*tz., wtf did he expect?

Not sure why this guy thinks he deserves big fights so soon. Or why the WBA was ranking him so high that he got shots at second tier titles after just two pro fights. Good amateur record but nothing special.

we all saw what happened to Lomachenko when Bob Arum cut corners with his development..... and Lomachenko is a absolute phenom

              hell, Lomachenko was a
absolute phenom before he turned pro

but, that did not help him when he got thrown into deep water with a..... TOUGH..... EXPERIENCED..... VETERAN..... PRO..... who was always going to be there for 12 HARD rounds

and a..... TOUGH..... EXPERIENCED..... VETERAN..... PRO..... who is always going to be there for 12 HARD rounds..... describes David Benavidez perfectly

like I said earlier..... if that fight happens, there will be 3 losers... Haymon, Morrell, and Benavidez

none of them will get what they want
