You know what it is: They learn to become capitalists by barking too much knowing that sells, in Cuba they kept their mouths shut.Comment

Sure, Morrel had a good amateur career, so? That´s what makes Benaidez better, no amateur accolades and the youngest pro champion in his division. Morrel has zero fan base and nobody cares about him in Cuba, nor Miami, he now wants to be from Minnessota hahaha.
You're comparing Morrell to Berlanga now? Berlanga is truly horrible and you could see that from the get go. All these guys on Benavidez's pro resume Morrell has beaten much better fighters in Cuba. He won the most outstanding fighter award in Russia at the age of 17 in the youth worlds. Then he beat La Sombra o La Cruz in my opinion at the national championships in Cuba but they didn't give him the win cause of who La Cruz is for the country so he had to leave the island. Julio Cesar la Cruz is a two time Olympic gold medalist and 5 time world champion and doing it at light heavy and cruiser, and because he did it at two different weight classes I rank him as the best Cuban boxer ever, above Stevenson and Savon.

Now, an 18 years old Morrell fought la Cruz twice and in my opinion won both times. Do you understand now more clearly what a huge obstacle Morrell is for anybody at 168? He'll murk all of them with Benavidez having the best chance of upsetting him but I just don't see it. Benavidez has been feasting on former 154 pounders and 160 pounder, and except for one former 154 pounder all orthodox fighters too on his resume. Samson ain't making this fight if his life depended on him and neither is his dad. Those in the know do know what Morrell is the best at 168 and will be the best at 175 when he moves up.Comment

I'm actually sold on Morrell. This guy can be the real deal. And no, none of your last paragraph. He's kinda fresh to the scene but has a good amateur background. I love to see this young man succeed. Wait a little on the Benavidez fight for now is my advice. Maybe in two or three fights. This is more likely to happen than anyone else in Benavidez's hit list.
Why, because the others just don't have balls big enough to **** with the Mexican ****er.

Just wondering where this Morrell fella been hiding all these years. Is he fighting Benavidez
because he's desperate, tired of being inactive due to too much cherrypicking? Casuals barely know this fella.Comment

Benavidez should not fight this guy.

 1. He has 6 fights. If Benavidez beats him, he just beat a guy with 6 fights and no notable wins.
 2. He has 6 fights. If Benavidez loses, he just lost to a guy with 6 fights and became his first notable win.

 It's a lose/lose and I don't like Benavidez.Comment
