Where does this loud mouth Rolando "Rolly" Romero get off talking like he's some kind of a world beater.
He's going to get his licks in, but Gervonta "Tank" Davis is going to ultimately break him down, and bust him up.
Life has a way of administering humiliating defeat to those, who know no respect for other's, just ask your boy Teofimo Lopez.
He talked himself into a ass whipping, and got it handed to him in spades by George Kambosos.
He was so humbled, humiliated, and busted up that after the fight he did the unexpected in stating that he didn't want a rematch.
Now it looks like you're next, the only question is will your beat down be as bad as Lopez's, or worse?

Rolly may be a nice dude in public and around people away from the media however his public image looks bad. What happened to boxing someone without making things so damn personal? He is an up and comer in the sport of boxing. This guys arrogance is off the charts. I hope he gets humbled to a point where he learns to be more respectful to his other opponents in the future.

I disagree with most on this thread. First of all, the guy was accused of a sexual act and he was found innocent. No it doesn't mean he did something it could very well mean that he was set up.

Second problem, damn right it's personal! These two Young bucks are fighting for position it has to be personal to make it mean something. They can certainly shake hands and and hug after the fight. Make that s*** personal make it real!

Finally, Rolly looks horrible. I understand everybody's feeling that he's a walkover but not so fast. The guy is smart he knows that tank has been knocking guys over who are smaller and he's actually right about that. He also knows he'll get a few opportunities if his chin holds up. If he can take tanks punch and he can hurt tank because he is bigger and stronger he may be able to beat tank. There's nothing so great about tank. I mean he's obviously a class above Rolly, and he has a lot more talent but sometimes bigger and stronger can mean a hell of a lot in a fight where there's not a lot of experience involved. I don't think tank ever really had to go up against somebody who is bigger stronger, able to push him around, if Riley really just tries to poke him this fight might be more interesting than people think.

With that said R0lley has a lot of work to do he better damn well pull that jab back and better become more defensively responsible. But if he has a chin and can take tanks smoke he might be able to get away with some of that s***. I can't in good faith say he will prevail but it wouldn't surprise me if he gets some opportunities.

Barring something absolutely drastic changing between the last time rolly fought and now, he will get stopped with 5 rounds. He's so crude and loads up on his shots. Thank will have no trouble punching between his shots. Rolly is not a thinker in the ring. He rarely changes up his attack and his combos are rare.
also when he grunts everytime he punches he is telegraphic so much of what he is doing.
Guy is tailor made for tank. I'd give him 20:1 odds

Tailor Made? When has Tank fought a big strong puncher at the weight? And Tank is young... Pit Bull had Tank stank leggin' in the later rounds... Now I think the world of Cruz... Actually he is my favorite right now and I think he is the dark horse that might be the best of the lot... A legit pressure fighter who can just keep coming... But Rolly has a punch. If he can find a way to catch Tank, and Cruz could rock Tank... I think this fight could be better than people think.

I agree with you on this. Romero just seems like a total douche bag. He doesn't have to put down Davis in the process. I hope that Romero gets humbled.
