Same coach = similar results. McCrackhead can't teach the finer points of boxing, because he doesn't know them. It's much the same way he once made Carl Froch into a strong, stiff robot. What f....king coach sends his fighter to the ring without a game plan, unless it's the amatuers where u don't know much about who ur fighting? Who in their right mind wouldn't wanna plan carefully for a man like Usyk? And Joshua being obedient like he is, probably just said, "duhhhh okay coach, I'll go get him and just beat him up and he'll fall down duhhh ahuhhuhhuh"... smfh

You only need to look at his accomplishments over a sustained period at all levels to know that McCracken knows what he's doing. What kind of fight are you expecting?

Solid Heavy Jab, none of this just touching people with it. And more mid-range offense from Joshua 'At maximum intensity'.

The first fight was long range ware fare, and this is a area where Usyk excels.

Joshua for a super heavyweight, his long range capabilities are not elite. But his mid-range offense is super elite.

Therefore this is where Joshua needs to take the fight, and force Usyk to operate in.

Neither fighter is great at inside fighting, I have stated recently that they both have zero inside fighting capabilities.

Wrestling on the inside, shoulder to shoulder fighting, defense on the inside, rough house tactics, short combination punching. Neither fight for me, has this area to their game to a high level.

I also think Usyk's ability to stop Joshua is slightly overrated. If Usyk could not stop Joshua in the 12 round of the first fight, he is not stopping Joshua with a single punch.

I am fully expecting Joshua to fight a considerable more aggressive and concise fight. One where he is certain of what he is doing, and not reacting to what Usyk is doing etc.

I think he said a specific game plan . A.J is probably seeing how a proper strategy by a competent trainer is now full time . McCracken was a part time trainer mostly away from A.J and went into camps at the tail end of them . Not sure how that worked for so long but if that’s the case A.J has a lot of capable improvements we haven’t seen yet .

Against Ruiz the plan was to knock him out early if not out box him ,but McCracken isn’t the type of trainer that gets into a real breakdown of opponents he relies on fighters raw talents and goes wherever the fight does or unfolds in the ring which is very risky because a fighter may be caught off guard .

The original interview shows he says he’ll have an ABC and D plan for Usyk so that is a specific game plan anyway that is what he’s referring to ,no fighter walks in the ring with no idea how he’s going to fight ?

Joshua needs to be a tad heavier also, between 242-244 pounds.

I find when Joshua starts getting down to the 240-239 pounds, his strength goes out the window.

It has not improved his endurance, so that tactic is flawed.

Joshua's endurance was at its all time best vs Kiltschko, and he was at one of his heaviest weights.
