Usyk has no inside game. This is a fact. Usyk is not a inside fighter.

Nobody has done anything about my post. Just like you are doing nothing. The reason why they will do nothing is because? People know deep down that Usyk is not a inside fighter. I have never ever come across another member on this site, who have objected to this statement.

Usyk strengths lay in his long range capabilities, mid-range offense and gears. He has the ability to operate at a very high speed. This is not just a physical thing, it is his ability to decode and react to action.

Usyk will stand out because, these super-heavyweights of this particular era are slow. Joshua may be quite fast in terms of pulling his moves off, but his ability to decode, react and adapt to action is not super fast 'It is not quite on the level of the heavyweights from the 90's'.

That is why Joshua needs to forget about what Usyk is going to do. Dictate and decide what he is going to do, stick to that game plan and let Usyk react.

Note: I still stand by what I said in that post. Usyk is not a complete fighter. He no inside game. He is not on par with Evander Holyfield skill for skill. I rate both Evander Holyfield and David Haye as better fighters on their best night. Haye blasted out Chisora within 5 rounds, Usyk struggled 'And that was Haye not even at his peak'.

Don't get confused, I am not down playing Usyk. He is a unprecedented talent in today's era of heavyweights. He will be a difficult fighter for any of these heavyweights to beat. It will still be the greatest Heavyweight win of the past 20 years, if Anthony Joshua beats Usyk.

Putting him as P4P #1 is so ******. There's a reason even Canelo was considering moving up to fight Makabu.
Why is it always a white guy? First Loma, then Canelo, now Usyk.
Give Crawford and Spence their props. Winner of that fight is the most skilled (offensively/defensively) and toughest fighter out there.
Probably because Canelo has gone through a bunch of weight classes and Usyk's movement and technique is amazing for a heavyweight. Loma compared to other fighters in the lower weight classes he's insane. Definitely higher than Davis and Ryan.

I'm not to knowledgeable on Spence but hasn't he only been in 1 weight class? I agree Crawford should be above Usyk at least but the other 2 definitely not.

Of course this is all opinion based. P4P is personal.

I haven't seen a lot of Usyk fights but has he ever been in a situation where he needs to fight on the inside?

I think that's why nobody can address it as we haven't seen Usyk need to get into a inside fight when he can just move out of the pocket and get back to playing his game.

There's no reason to develop a great inside game when you have the footwork to get out.

You are the second poster who has said that.

There is always a reason to develop inside game. Uysk could not get away from Chisora, it was only when Chisora fatigued did Uysk get some distance.

Usyk was battered vs a semi aggressive Joshua. There was considerable visual damage.

If Joshua decides to apply his mid-range offense at maximum intensity, I don't think Usyk will get away. Winning is not as simple as that, because Usyk is solid enough at mid-range himself 'And of course his punch speed is top'.

Tyson Fury does not throw his punches with better technique than Lennox Lewis.

I tell you what mate, go and make another thread and poll. And pose the question to the forum, who has the better fundamentals and technique between Lennox Lewis & Tyson Fury.

I can guarantee you, Lennox Lewis will win that poll. Lewis had a better jab, uppercut, right back hand, over hand right, combination punch ability and body punching ability.

Here we go with the ready made excuses regarding Joshua vs Uysk. Anthony Joshua is facing Usyk at his absolute peak. And if he beats Usyk it is the greatest heavyweight win of the past 20 years.

You ether think Usyk is going to win or you don't? Don't make sly excuses, to discredit a potential Anthony Joshua win.

Tyson Fury is retired, and his last fight was against somebody who Joshua ****** about many years ago.
AJ also has better punch technique and combinations than Fury. Does that make him the better technician?

The hipsters on this forum think Joe Louis would KO Fury. Their opinions are worthless.

Usyk is clearly in decline. He is not as fast as he used to be and has slowed down stamina-wise. This is evident even after beating AJ.

A small HW reliant on superior speed and agility is not going to be at their "peak" at near 36 and with a war going on in their homeland.

You always goes on long rants as if ya know boxing, but chat **** 90% of the time. "Uysk has zero inside game"

Plus, Chisora won like 3 rounds in that fight and was stunned a number of times. I have no idea why people think that fight was close.

The perception from people who DKSAB - which is most boxing fans - was that if Usyk had any chance at all of beating AJ he would demolish a fringe contender like Chisora easily. When that didn't happen, and they saw Chisora coming forward winging big punches - which all either missed or got blocked - with Usyk boxing defensively on the retreat, they really didn't know enough to properly process what they were seeing. The colour commentary from Del Boy's best mate Tony Bellew had a bit to do with that too.

I thought it was a good performance from Usyk, in a tiny ring against a big aggressive HW who I expected to make life uncomfortable for him to begin with.

Saying something is a fact doesn't make it a fact. I'm not even reading past your first ****ing sentence, You have no idea what you're watching, and you're clearly not a BOXING fan, you are a BOXER fan.

Couldn't agree more. The Usyk/Chisora fight went about how I expected it to go. I also find it ironic that the same people who thought that Del WHOOPED Usyk didn't think he beat Parker (I gave him the Parker win, and I only gave him 3 rounds against Usyk)

I also love that people who have never stepped foot in a boxing gym will look at the phrase "styles make fights" and think that you can just adjust your style with a little bit of different training. Not going to happen.

I know, a fact is something that has happened or happens.

Usyk does not have a world class inside game, again? Nobody on this forum has ever objected to this statement.

Because they know it is a fact. If somebody did object to that statement, I would ask them to show me the evidence.

And there will be no evidence mate. People can show the Chisora fight, and all that will show is Usyk not being able to cope.

Usyk could not cope with Chisora, it was only when Chisora fatigued did Usyk get some distance and go to work 'Still Chisora survived fighting hard until the end'.

Usyk was battered by Chisora and Joshua. In both fights there was considerable visual damage. I rate Usyk, but make no mistake? The man is not untouchable.

People keep trying to convince themselves that Joshua is petrified, I don't sense this. The Ruiz Junior II rematch, was more of a daunting fight for him to prepare for etc.

You have made nothing comments here and there on this thread, if you know so much about boxing? Say something mate. Explain from start to finish what will happen in this rematch.

                      1) you just threw your trainer under a (very large) bus
