Spike talking about Lara’s decline as if Spike’s decline isn’t 5 times greater. At least Lara hasn’t been beat up and KO’d like Spike has. Lara avoided punishment while Spike made a living out of being a punching bag. Hmm, I wonder which guy has suffered more decline…?
Dan Rafael once described this guy as “the club fighter who got knocked out by David Lemeiux” and that pretty much sums it all up.
This will be the easiest fight of Lara’s career
Gonna be tough to top that LaManna matchup. Ol' Cornflake (who I'm a fan of) strolled into the ring and promptly got sparked out about 80 seconds into it. I think it was the first straight left that Lara threw.
Incidentally, Cornflake's first loss was a 6th round TKO to Antoine Douglas. O'Sullivan's best win is probably his 7th round stoppage of that very same Douglas.
That being said, it will probably be a close second. I like that Rafael quote and it best sums up Spike. I swear he's received more chances because of that handlebar mustache.
Sullivan just missed his ideal era by like about a century or so. He would have been up there with Dempsey and Tunney had he fought in the 1920s-1930s. All those bums at his disposal.
where in the *** did they find this guy? he looks like a character out of some cheap two bit made for TV pirate movie. THIS is lara's opponent? are you ***ing kidding me
Poor clown got brain damage from being badly ktfo by David Lemule in the first round
So we’re just going to ignore that Lara had two fights that were foty contenders vs Angulo and Hurd? Pushing the narrative that he’s consistently horrible to watch is just what certain fans like to do to justify him either being avoided by their favorite fighters or justifying controversial losses that have gone against him.
Youre right!! Those were great scraps. Thnx for reminding. Me
