The ticket prices for events like this are outrageous enough, then you go to Stubhub and wish you could pay $300 for the worst seat in the house.

Third party ticket distributors are killing events like this because they gobble up the good seats then try to resell for 300% profit. People aren't ****** enough to waste their money like that.

The funny thing is I still plan on going to a bar to watch the fights (plus, there's no theaters near me showing it).

      But yeah, man, can't wait.

Either way, I think it's a cool idea to show the fights in theaters...

Thank the "Vans Warped Tour" as that is where they got the idea from in these times. The concept isn't new, but in todays era it is.

Um, yeah because all 10,000 MGM Grand employees always get free fight tickets.

What he's saying is true, I have a good friend who works as a concierge at the MGM, and she says that they are already offering FREE FIGHT TICKETS to hotel guests.

His bragging days are done. Pac-Cotto fight has already sold more tickets. Has more buzz. Will do a bigger gate. Will get more PPV buys. You can sig that.
End of the day ppv sales> Ringside sales there maybe some correlation who knows but if the ppv does 450-600 buys its down very well and i dont think anyone can doubt Floyd as a draw. Simply because Marquez is not well known at all.. and was marketed all wrong years ago.

And if people dont think 450-650k or so is ****ing good for a fight which 90% of the people watching think is a mismatch your fools..

I have embraced that dichotomy. Kinda the way Mike Tyson says "I will eat his children" in a squeaky voice.

But seriously, boxing is a sport to me. I do not have bloodlust. I realize that some fighters will be the 80's Bears, and some will be the 90's Rams.

My favourite all-time fighter is Pernell Whitaker. I like Pacquiao, too. I also like Casamayor.

Every time I see Mayweather hurt a guy, he tries to finish him. Go see the Manfredy, and Hatton fights in particular. He doesn't let guys off the hook (which would annoy the hell outta me).

If Trinidad, Quartey, Sturm, and Vargas didn't hurt Oscar, I don't know that you can fault Floyd for not KO'ing Oscar. Call me crazy.
