How does Canelo do in the 2009-2011 168 pound tournament?

    Here’s the line-up:

Andre Dirrell (18-0, 13 KOs), Andre Ward (19-0, 12 KOs), Arthur Abraham (30-0, 24 KOs), Carl Froch (25-0, 20 KOs), Jermain Taylor (28-3-1, 17 KOs) and Mikkel Kessler (41-1, 31 KOs)

Does he win it all? If not, who beats him and how?

That was a stacked era at 168 with a lot of genuine world class fighters in their prime, not like now with blown up average middle bjs and average plant pot ruling the roost. 168 has been dead since the super 6 guys retired.

Ward, Froch, Kessler all too big too strong, you can't have all the weaknesses canelo has like slow feet, being short, short reach and needing to take constant rests when the guys your fighting can tank your punches and hit you back really ****ing hard. Period.

All those guys have excellent jabs that have power on them. All of them have a lot of heart. All of them are big and physically strong. All of them have better reach. All of them have FAR better stamina than Canelo.

They aren't going to suddenly forget how to box, or be scared of this little guy who can hit a bit.

It's not rocket science, it really isn't.

At some point in all those fights Alvarez would retreat to the ropes and get lit tf up and kessler and froch stop him. Ward may stop him but 120-108 is more likely.

Abraham is like a 50/50, Abraham was like a proto Golovkin with better power and physical strength but a bit less speed.

Taylor would manage to get ko'd

Dirrell should easily win but will find some way to lose.

Canelo beats them all and it wouldn't be that tough.

He beat super six winner Callum smith when just year before ppl thought he would never face him

If you take away Canelo’s stroke with the judges as the cash cow of boxing it would be very interesting. He couldn’t just high guard and hook his way through those guys. He couldn’t walk through GGG at 160. If he did go through that tournament, it would have helped give him the experience to do better than he did vs Bivol.

He loses to Ward at least, and maybe others. It was a strong era.
