Plant won't be any issue for Benavidez. He doesn't have the firepower to keep up. Charlo can crack at least so he'd have a shot at maybe hurting him but most likely he gets stopped also

Young Edward…..you have Canelo for two more fights and then he’s going to have to face middleweights abs super middleweights who are a threat rather than 40 year olds he’s already been given the win against as well as light heavyweights who will bust him up again. The pbc fighters should be no concern of yours since Canelo will have nowhere to go but pbc when he’s done with the euro-russian circuit

Benavidez will stop plant within 8. He’s probably the best option at canelo in the sense that canelo showed nothing in the first fight to make you think he could beat bivol at 175 and nobody else at 168 is relevant unless he plans to call up middleweights. He’s walking around with Benavidez belt claiming undisputed without having to beat the former champion who never lost his belt in the ring. That angle along with Mexican vs Mexican/Ecuadorian American angle would make the fight sellable, since this last Ppv sales numbers weren’t that great.

Amen to this! Plant suckered everyone - me included - into thinking he’d give Canelo a decent fight. Who knew that by round 9, Plant would go from trying to win the fight to bizarrely trying to win compliments from Alvarez. I have no interest in seeing Plant in any fight that he’s considered to be the A-side.
