Yeah, Wembley Arena would've been doable definitely, it's a good fight, heavyweight, and they're both more likely to draw the public's attention than a Buatsi or an Azeez. O2 a little optimistic though even with a killer undercard which is by no means guaranteed.

Not really sure who else they could get on that card tbf. Bakole-Chaney? Whittaker in a step up? Chelli-Simpson? Their stable isn't the broadest.

I think they’re gonna need a really strong co-main to sell out the arena.

Chamberlain-Riley maybe? Denny defending his EBU title? Not sure what happened to him supposedly fighting later this month. As you say they don’t have all that much depth.

Two good shouts. I think they should make Chamberlain-Cieslak on that card and even if he loses he might get to keep the British and then they can do Riley after, Cieslak shifted quite a few tickets for the Okolie fight, but yeah maybe they go straight into Chamberlain-Riley. Denny's defence is another decent shout but surely they keep that for a Midlands card, maybe with Whittaker-Pitters or something.

Shame they couldn’t get the proposed Denny-Cash fight over the line. I wouldn’t be opposed to an Udofia rematch as well.

That should be the defence. Pretty sure when I checked he was eligible to fight for the EBU as well.

Sam Gilley vs Jack McGann ordered for the vacant British Light Middleweight title.

I believe Antwi could challenge the winner of Baraou-Eggington for the EBU title.

Good fights there, that's what I thought when the circular said Antwi withdrew, must've been offered an EBU shot after.

                Some other BBBofC stuff:

Saw they got Dacres-Adeleye accepted for the Birmingham show, winner to defend against Moses. Makes sense.

Board going to be considering cruiserweight next month, looks like Chev Clarke will be passed over to allow Chamberlain-Riley.

Dalton Smith-Azim ordered for the British as well as the EBU. Could get the triple crown on the line for that one, fantastic domestic fight if it comes off. Split 50-50, not sure whether that gives Boxxer an opportunity to say Azim should get more of the split as European champion and duck it that way ...

Is the Dacres-Adeleye fight actually happening though? I’ve got a feeling it’ll be later in the year. Be a great addition to the Birmingham card if it does.

It’s been ordered by both the EBU and BBBofC hasn’t it? Would love to see it but feels like neither side really want it, they both have big plans for their prospects. Maybe MR let Smith fight on Sky again, no chance Boxxer let Azim fight on DAZN.

The Board have it going on the 16th, Frank had said he wanted it on that card, but yeah agree I think they're mistaken - could see it later on.

Yeah both have ordered it. Agree it's very unlikely to happen. Smith's in quite tough against Zepeda in March though, that's a big step up from his British defences. Wonder who they go for next for Azim. International name, so they can claim they're above Euro level, maybe like a Commey or somebody? I think they should do Ohara personally but he might still be under contract with GBP. Ritson?

Just feels a bit late to announce it doesn’t it.

Yeah I really like the Zepeda matchup, good step up in class and I think they’re possibly getting Zepeda at the right time too.

Azim vs Davies would be a good headliner for a Sky show. Would be a good way to get Azim some more exposure.
