Yeah good matchup, I do wonder whether it’s coming a bit early for Simpson. I expected him to go for the English first. The one time I watched him live, he really passed the eye test though so I can see why they’ve took a calculated risk.

Agreed, I saw him at the Okolie v Light card (free tickets, I can't pay for Okolie) and thought he looked like he had a lot of potential

        Same here- free tickets also.

My local gym got given loads, literally couldn’t give them away.

Was just about to mention this. It's a good double-header (lucky that, because Boxxer desperately need one given Azeez-Buatsi has fallen through). It's funny that the chief support is actually better than any fight on the Haney-Prograis undercard and that's PPV in the States.

Any news on whether Ben Whittaker is actually going to be on that Wolverhampton Azim card - seems weird Summers would pull out of Yarde if he wasn't guaranteed that fight.

Gutted about Azeez-Buatsi, think Boxxer have a had disappointing year. I wish Sky would go back to being an open platform, Boxxer can’t deliver enough quality to merit an exclusive deal IMO.

Was thinking this myself, still hasn’t been announced so I’m starting to think it isn’t happening. I do wonder whether Whittaker is taking the sport seriously enough, his career has been very stop start for a newly turned professional with such a great platform.

You have got to be fxcking joking. The fight was THIS Saturday! Boxing always finds a way to disappoint us.

Azeez has suffered a back injury. I’m hoping Lawal-Chamberlain still goes ahead but I’m doubtful tbh.

Looks like it will now be Cullen vs Chelli next for the British title with Simpson facing the winner. Chelli getting a shot over Jeffers is a disgrace IMO.

Samuel Antwi will defend against Jack McGann on a Sauerland show TBA.

Liam Dillon vs Reece Bellotti also ordered.
