Would’ve rather they took on an eliminator at 154 - maybe Harrison or someone? - but understand that might not’ve been possible.

How do you see the fight going?

Liam’s just looking for money fights at this stage of his career.

I think it definitely goes the distance. I think it’s got a Haye-Bellew feel about it, where the underdog knows something the public don’t. I’m leaning towards Smith on points. I’ve noticed quite a few pro’s making the same pick too.

Fair play. Will he be getting 500k+ for this and Eubank over a million or are those a bit conservative even?

I’m favouring Eubank in a narrow one, although I’m not huge on his new, C-grade RJJ style. Could come back to haunt him - should’ve beaten Williams far more convincingly IMO.

I’m not privy to the splits but I’d imagine Liam will earn high six figures.

I have a similar line of thinking. If Eubank tries to box with Smith I see him getting outpointed. If it becomes an attritional battle, it is obviously favours Eubank.

Good money then. We shall see. Shalom was bigging up the proposed undercard, and said the fans would be excited with the chief support - while Riakporhe-Glowacki is good, it’s not huge imo. Interested to see what else he’s got lined up beyond Azim-Gardner

With it being in Manchester, I fight I’d love to see them add is Bradley Rea vs Jack Flatley.

Dunno if we'd see Rea that quickly, think he got injured in the Denny fight - might be wrong though?

Could they try and get Cullen in with someone? Sadjo rematch?

Can't really think who else they've got from the area to be honest.

                  If we're getting (theoretically ofc):
                  Eubank Jr-Smith
                  Riakporhe-Glowacki
                  Azim-Gardner

Do you reckon we'll get a couple more fights just below that level (maybe a British/woman's title fight & an English)? Frazer Clarke maybe?

I didn’t know he got injured. Cullen vs Schofield would be interesting, they’re both local lads I think.

Kongo might be on the card I reckon, he tends to mirror Riakporhe’s schedule. Frazer’s probably on there, does Lyndon Arthur maybe make an appearance with Wasserman being involved?

I thought I read that Lyndon was fighting Joel McIntyre on the Williamson-Kelly card, but haven't really seen that anywhere else - doubt he will be now to be fair, haven't seen any of the pressers or anything but I presume he's not on there.

Kongo is a good shout yeah, shame about Marku's injury as I really want to see that one. Neither are going to do much at world level, so this is probably their best opportunity to make a big fight - think I saw Kongo saying Marku's team don't want it.

Cullen-Chelli if they're not rearranging the Richards fight? Cullen-Richards? Don't know too much about Schofield except he got beat reasonably comprehensively by Germaine Brown.

Saw Rivas-Ajagba is lined up, reckon Babic fights for the vacant (if Rivas is vacating) belt at bridger then soon? Think they'd much rather Rozanski than Merhy to be honest.
