I favour Dubois but it’s definitely a winnable fight for Dillian. Whyte’s a savvy guy, he’ll definitely have a plan here, he’ll either want more money from BT or have a better offer on the table.

Not a fan of Whyte personally but I do respect the hustle. Financially speaking, he’s the biggest overachiever in British boxing history IMO. When you look at his career in regard to accolades it’s pretty mediocre on paper: No ABA title as an amateur, no European title, no World title, only a British title aside from international and interim baubles but despite that he’s headlined 7 PPV’s and made multimillions in the process. Compare that to say Froch who despite winning 3 world titles and making multiple defences only had 3 PPV’s. Love him or hate him, Dillian definitely knows how to market himself.

The only fighter I could compare to Whyte is Eubank Jr, he’s also had a pretty mediocre career on paper yet still made millions but that has a lot more to do with his last name than him being able to market himself.

Was at a small club show on Sunday. A few of the guys were talking about him headlining against Johnson in December on DAZN? Any truth behind it?

Think it’s going to be Callum Smith at the O2 in late November/early December.

I like either fight tbf. Buatsi's team previously rejected a Callum Johnson fight a few years back but surely they’ll be ready now.

Much better fight than Buatsi-Pascal tbf. Full credit to all involved if we get Smith-Buatsi next.

Good fight for the hardcore fans, not sure it sells the O2 out though. Maybe they pair it with Chisora on PPV.

I'm looking forward to this scrap. Should be fun.

Don't think Frank is best pleased with Johnson at the minute, he's pulled out of a couple fights now (some not his fault - COVID against Joe Smith Jr, but others injury etc). I thought they had Johnson-Faure lined up for the European, but maybe they'll go Buatsi instead.

Buatsi should have enough to deal with Johnson imo, best case for Callum he may drop him early but I'd expect Buatsi to get the stoppage.

Smith-Buatsi is an excellent fight, and the winner would be more than deserving of a shot. I'm not as well educated on the intricacies of matchups as others so I'd be keen to see what others thought but I'd favour Smith, although Buatsi may take a lead on the cards as his work seems more flashy.
