Haven’t got a clue what’s going on with CBS’ promotional status, some people are saying it’s a one fight deal, others are saying he only has one fight left with Matchroom and will be joining up with Boxxer in the near future.

Interesting fight. I haven't heard much from Chamberlain since he lost on points to Okolie. I wonder if CBS is looking for that Riakporhe rematch (provided he gets by Chamberlain)....

He’s been quietly rebuilding his career under Mick Hennessy. Had a couple of stay busy 6/8 rounders and then in his last fight knocked out Prasovic inside the first round. Taking a considerable step up in class vs CBS though.

Yeah I’m all for the Riakporhe rematch. I think Riakporhe’s next fight could be for a world title though. Either way hopefully they get that fight made in the next year or so.

That would be a very nice matchup. Massey gave Riakporhe all he could handle despite losing a close one. He was able to stand up to Richard's massive power for the most part and dished put some nice shots himself.

CBS is strong and rugged, I'd probably edge the power to him but Massey is a pretty skilled operator.

If CBS can control the distance and keep Chamberlain on the outside I think he’ll win quite comfortably. You might be right about it being a dull affair, I can’t exactly see their being fireworks in this one.

Massey is the one guy in British boxing I can’t believe hasn’t been signed by a bigger promoter. Him vs CBS is a 50/50 for me. The way he destroyed Laggoune was impressive, I think he’s really improved since the Riakporhe loss.

A lot of talk of Sky having a PPV on September 10th. Shields vs Marshall, Fury vs Hunter, Parker vs TBA, Ben Whittaker’s debut or second fight depending on whether he fights on the July card. Tbh I wouldn’t be buying it, I’m not a female boxing guy but I also don’t think that’s a PPV quality card.

Also heard Kongo vs Marku is a fight they’re looking to make but that likely headlines it’s own card. No surprise as Marku is a massive ticket seller.
