Really impressed me vs Bentley. Hasn’t really capitalised on that momentum though. Would love to see him fight Liam Williams.

Been told Robbie Davies Jr will challenge Alejandro Meneses for the IBO title in December. Assuming this lands on the Leeds card.

Had Jordan Gill won on Saturday the plan was for him to fight Mauricio Lara next.

Somebody out there must hate Jordan Gill.

Also hope this doesn’t lead to Lara-Martinez. I’d like to see Kiko fight Mick Conlan next personally.

I think the matchmaking's been fairly clever here, Wood-Kiko was getting absolutely ripped when that was first proposed as opposed to Wood-Lara but now I'm seeing an awful lot of Kiko-Lara, leaving Wood free to take another fight (LSC?). I'd like to see Kiko-Nick Ball to be honest, all out war, but I'd rather the latter fights Collins first. Wonder who Conlan will be taking on next assuming he beats Guerfi - how's he positioned with the governing bodies?

I think you’re right on the money. I fully expect Wood to defend against Kiko next. Would love to see him fight Ball too, FOTY potential.

Speaking of Collins, I’ve heard the BBBofC are going to order him vs Louie Lynn for the vacant British title.

I originally thought Conlan might fight Thomas Patrick Ward as both are highly ranked with the WBA. Ward’s already got a WBA final eliminator though so wouldn’t really make sense to risk that against Conlan. Could potentially fight Jazza ****ens for the IBO title. That’d be a decent matchup.

In regards to the Smith vs Eubank Jr rumours I think the fight is far more likely for early 2023.

I get he's viewed well right now because of Benn's drug use but Eubank's targeting kf smaller fighters is pretty lame. Liam deserves one last big fight though. Good for him.

Eubank Jr’s career has always been a risk vs reward type.

If you offered him Jake Paul or Canelo we all know which one he’d take.

Cordina and Rakhimov have a deal in place to fight in the first quarter of 2023 providing Joe’s hand is fully healed.

I’d like to see them bring this to the UK, probably more likely to land in Dubai though.

Surely it lands in Cardiff. Although they already did us dirty by having the fight originally scheduled for abroad.

Any news on Akhmedov or Giyasov? They haven't been out for a while.
