Martin Bakole dropped to 12 in the IBF's rankings, do you reckon they have word of some kind of intention to fight Dubois or that the WBA may order that? Other than that it seems a bit odd to drop him 6 places? I reckon Frank cashes out Dubois and tries to make the WBA order the Usyk fight is more likely surely.

Yeah providing him and Okolie both successfully defend it seems highly likely they’ll unify.

I reckon Boxxer are gonna do a Cruiserweight PPV doubleheader. Okolie-Goulamirian, Riakporhe-CBS II.

Are the IBF going down the rankings for a replacement for Ruiz?

Maybe Bakole indicated he was gonna reject the Hrgovic fight too.

I'd love that, would pay for it, but would the casuals? That seems like it'd do poorly on PPV. Maybe it's worth it for them to recoup say, £1m off 70,000 buys or something.

Quite possibly, yeah. Dempsey McKean can't be too far off, if I recall correctly he was at 9. Wallin was at 10. I believe Frank Sanchez was 6, not sure who was 7 or 8. Let me check. Kabayel (7), Whyte (8).

That’s a big problem with boxing, it’s one of the few sports reduces it’s own viewership. They’d rather have 100k paying than 1 million watching.

Ideally, they do them as two separate cards on regular Sky but I suspect PPV might be involved.

I think the purse is so low, it’ll be tough to get anyone to take it. They had a similar problem in the past with Hrgovic.

Wallin definitely would, he’s desperate for an opportunity.

Yeah Wallin has really been sitting around for a while, has he faced a notable opponent post-Breazale? I know he was scheduled to fight Whyte late-2021 but obviously they pulled Dillian out or he was injured.

I think Whyte became mandatory for Fury and then suddenly became “injured”.

Wallin is definitely one of those high risk low reward guys.

Disappointed with McGrail’s opponent. As long as Matchroom keep him active though I’m ok with it.
