Turning down the Lomachenko fight, and then putting on a non-performance and cashing a check in a fight that HBO was expecting FOTY quality, severly damaged his brand.
He was high risk, low reward after that. I just don't think anyone was interested in fighting him, HBO wasn't interested in having him back, and in that environment Top Rank shifted their attention elsewhere.
