Just more pre-fight hype to juice up the live gate and PPV take. None of the pre fight posturing means beans, but denying entrance to Haney’s father and important team member is an unneeded distraction and handicap to a fair and impartial contest.

Don't one think Haney is going to be a lot more disciplined, focused, composed and poised than that? This fight won't so much as remotely resemble the Lopez/Kambosos fire fight.

Expect a very slow, tactical, surgical and scientific approach by Devin Haney.
You've got 18,657 posts in here and you haven't been kicked out for just plain ******ity yet? Your not in a " fight of the year " category if people aren't training. I've heard it all now. What happened to Lopez was he got out hustled, out hit in a complete and utter exhausting war. Maybe one of the better slugfests in the last 3 yrs where no one gave an inch. Both fighters floored. Now let's get to Haney . What ? All of a sudden Haney has turned into a dissecting , calculating monster of a fighter? Since when? This guy is severely flawed. He won't be able to take the heat Kambosos will bring. Now we'll see what Haney' s chin is made of. Because he's going to get hit alot. He's going to be in alot of uncomfortable situations. Kambosos has got enough power to punish Haney and have the ref save him or his corner. I don't see this going much past 10. If it does, kudos to Haney. But I don't see it.

If this clown can't fight without daddy in his corner , then he's not a champion. There's 1,000's of times in history a cornerman couldn't for some reason or another couldn't be in their fighters corner. None more significant that Cus D'Amato not being in Iron Mike's corner when he won the championship . Why? Because he died. What did Mike do? He won. Champions win. Haney has trained for Kambosos. Nobody else. Get in the ring and shut up. You ever listen to the corner in fights ? 90% of the time the fighter don't listen anyways. They are the ones in the ring , not the daddy that's in the corner. Fighters usually do their own adjusting in the ring based in what's working and what isn't working. That's just a fact.

No, I'm not Kambosos. I'm an old man, 63 . Been a boxing fanatic since I was 8(1967) , watching fights with my grandfather. Even listening to fights on the radio. There were some stations that actually gave really good action updates inbetween rounds. Who did what etc. And their opinions on who won the round. But most were on free tv. Especially in the 70's and 80's

I’m guessing this fight will look more like Floyd/Maidana I…Kambosos will be he busier more aggressive od the two, throwing more punches while Haney moves backwards, circles, clinches and looks for big counters. Hopefully Kambosos won’t be robbed like Maidana was.

Some dumbass conspiracy theory that Kambosos and the Australian government have orchestrated this so that Devin will be separated from his father. Obviously not all of his fans are saying this, but there are many saying that Devin should not have gone to Australia or fight Kambosos because his dad isn't there. They're also turning this into some racial thing, which I can't stand.

Well whatever you say Boss! However, just remember that if you think that for one second that Haney would be drawn into a slugfest, firefight, pier six brawl or a knock-down and drag out fight with Kambosos as he done with Lopez.

Well then that type of logic and judgement is reserved for very slow and dumb motherfuckers! Don't get it twisted homie! George doesn't punch anywhere near as hard Jorge Linares.

The bottom line is Devin is going to be very hard to find. He is going to be in and out all night long making it very difficult for Kambosos to hit him.
Haney is not going to stand and trade toe to toe while exchanging punches with George Kambosos, Jr. Teo does that ****** shit. Devin doesn't!

You can hope and pray for a slow match if you want, but that would be the first GK fight that that ever happened. Haney has to be among the most overrated fighters in the sport today and GK among the most underrated. Haney can box slick against mid-level competition, but he's no Floyd Mayweather as many of his fans seem to believe. He doesn't have Floyd level skills or IQ, so not sure why people think he's such a boxing genius. He gets hit and he gets hurt. That's going to happen again in Australia. The biggest difference between Haney and GK is the amount of dog in them. GK steps into the ring knowing he's going to go life and death with his opponent and he's fully willing to do so, every time. Haney is not bred to go that deep into the well. He's going to leave the ring looking worse than Teofimo did.
