He may have said that...but I doubt he will and fight Benavidez, especially if Canelo goes down to 160 (which is what I think will happen) and he has an opportunity at that payday. We shall see, but I really don't think Charlo wants any part of Benavidez.

You haven’t been here long enough or maybe your an alt but then you would know that I’ve been one who’s called out Canelo and his nuthuggers over and over
I agree with most of what you’ve stated but imo , Benevidez won’t just walk through Canelo
He isn’t a bad boxer just a smart promoter choosing the Floyd way of going about
Like I’ve always said , he’s damn lucky he chose Bivol cause King Artur would’ve taken his head off

And I liked most of what u stated but I truly believe Benavidez stops Canelo. The ref will stop the fight. Not the corner . His corner is the biggest hype believer. They'd never stop a Canelo fight. Listen, Canelo couldn't even make any adjustments in the fight. You'd figure by the 5th , 6th round , him and his corner might have a clue that things weren't going as planned. Even all the Canelo fans, and I was in a room full of them , were going " oh no, this isn't going well " . But , absolutely no adjustments. Why ? Because this is Canelo. Always has been Canelo. Problem is, his management team are geniuses and they put him in fights that are made to order for him. " No lose " situations . Well , the Bivol choice was the biggest miscalculation of his career. He fought someone with talent. And I can't see them making the same mistake again. Should be interesting watching who his future opponents are. Especially after he's lost this aura of invincibility. Half these clowns he's been fighting were petrified before they even got in the ring. Were either going back to the " low risk/ high reward " fights(wins) or he's going to fight elite dogs( losses ) . Anyhow, I got Benevidaz TKO 9 over Canelo. Benevidaz will press alot harder than Bivol. And he's got a better arsenal than Bivol and I'd say equal power. That fight will get ugly for Canelo.

I give Canelo credit where due
I think he has the chin to absorb some of Benevidez’s power
Not saying he wins or loses but it won’t be a walk in the park
But I do think it’s a good fight
