Canelo does over 600k vs UFC 400k

I don’t care about the UFC but I don’t believe the fight did 600k. At least not in the US. I was in Vegas that weekend and I’m telling you for fight week Vegas was dead. I listen to TBV and they just went off of what Eddie Hearn said to the media. When the report came out I said I didn’t believe it then. There was literally no promotion for this fight and I don’t believe it did what they said it did.

What facts are you talking about? Hearn running his mouth in front of a microphone isn’t facts. You want to believe him then that’s your prerogative. But I don’t believe it so there’s no need to cry about it. Eddie Hearn has zero credibility in my opinion.

Wow 600K in today's Boxing is like the new Million lol. That's some big number especially if they outdid UFC.

Promoters are conmen though so I just take it with a grain of salt.

I do not care. I do not care if a fighter is popular, makes money, wins the popularity contest, fake resume contests. The only thing I care about are skills.. I'm happy Canelo is getting his money I just don't think he's a top skilled fighter.

I like both sports so whatever. Canelo is obviously a major draw and could do a lot better than that too if you remove the DAZN factor and put him against a more casual friendly opponent. It does say something about MMAs crazy growth that we even talk about this **** though. 20 years ago Tyson/Lennox did nearly 2 million buys while the UFC had 7 cards the whole year and the biggest one by far did 100k buys.

Dazn has confirmed those numbers it is what it is don't matter if you don't want to accept it.

I can say I don't believe Floyd ever made the money he said he made for the Manny fight but if the facts are there it is what it is.
