Haney, Kambosos is a warrior but Haney is too sharp of a boxer for him.. Kambosos is not sneaking up on anyone anymore after his win over Teo. Haney is going to be at his best and at the end of the day he is just the better pure boxer.

Kambo does seem to be running his mouth a lot, trying to rile Haney. But Devin looks calm and not willing to take the bait. When it's a battle between two elite fighters I generally think that the big mouth one doesn't feel as confident in their skill so they want to talk more. If you are confident, you shouldn't need to try and get a mental advantage by throwing insults at your opponent. You just let your skills do the talking. This could be an embarrassing night for Furious George. But the Aussie judges will have him four rounds up before he even enters the ring so even if he loses he might get the W.

Very little sparring, etc. From people who have made the trip before, the consensus is that you feel like it's day one of camp. You're slow and sluggish. In the second week it gets a little better but he won't be normal until the day of the fight, and that's the soonest he'll start to feel somewhat normal.

So, with his dad not going, with his whole team pretty much not going, I'm wondering if Haney is still the favorite to win. I haven't looked to see what the odds are now, but I imagine they'll change today or tomorrow.

Given the situation now, who do you think is going to win and how?

Haney is just too big, will be around 160 pounds, has reach and height avantages and fights dirty, will be à boring fight with UD for huggies-Haney

Hey! Thanks for the invite! I think I will participate. I'll read the rules. There's an attachment of the JoJo Diaz vs Haney fight. I've been looking for that! Awesome. I'm putting together a film study for a friend.

I can see it already that Kambosos is going to be a problem for Haney. Haney has a bad habit of not protecting his chin with his rear hand. It drops all the time. Watch how Kambosos takes Haney's jab away. It should be just the same as how he took Lopez's jab away. Chris Mannix kept asking: "Why doesn't he throw his jab? That's what he needs to do!" But he didn't realize what Kambosos was doing. George is fantastic fighting on the back foot, playing the role of counterpuncher. He's a pure counterpuncher. This whole fight is going to be a chess match. It really is. It could be either boring or electrifying.

After seeing Haney in the media workout, I have to say that he's not making me confident that he'll be able to pull this off. Something seem very off about him, as if he's flat and lethargic. It kind of works for him in the press conference because he doesn't seem to get riled, but when he keeps that same energy everywhere else, I know that jet lag is kicking his ass right now. The bad think is that you don't really notice it until you have to physically compete. I bet today was the first day Haney was able to take a ****. No joke. The guys been constipated the whole week, I'm sure. One of the most common side effects of a 16 hour time zone change.

Anyway, this will be a very interesting fight.

To me I think this is a 50/50 fight and it's tough to predict the outcome of the winner. If you're going to place bets, place your bets safely lol.

Haney is surely the better boxer and is fundamentally better imo, but Kambosos is really underestimated with his skills. He could bring it and prove doubters like myself in the Lopez fight wrong.

Still though, I think Haney UD?

                  There's a wrench.

CM Punk (Kambosos) once told Teo that the belts were his curse, and that he changed.

Punk has changed now. He's talking with a lot of confidence, borderline arrogance. Still a big fan of him, but calling it like we see it.

You obviously dislike Haney, going by the GIF.

We just saw the master of questionable scorecards (Canelo) lose unanimously on his home turf.

Our theory: Haney will pull out a better version of Lee Selby's performance and it goes to at least a draw.

It being in Kambosos home turf really makes this hard for me to gauge. Nearly everything - time, conditions, judging, ref- are in his favor. But it is hard to just say he has the advantage, as Haney is so skilled and is literally betting on himself in taking this fight under all these conditions. When a man bets on himself, I tend to favor him. This is not a situation where someone is coming to Aussie Land to get a payday. Haney is coming to win and set himself up as a top wage earner and get respect. He accepted a smaller payday straight away for the opportunity. I respect it. So the intangibles are fairly even here in my opinion.

My gut is failing me in this one. So I will go with what I have seen. I just feel if both these fighters are bringing their "A" game, Haney has more ways to score rounds. Like the Bivol and Alvarez fight, even if the name fighter- the hometown warrior in this case- gets a few early rounds, the better boxer usually cannot be denied. I will be sucker enough to trust these judges to be honest.

Haney wins like 8 rounds to unify. No, I am not overly confident in that prediction. But I am comfortable with it.
