Well doesn't that make it all the more amazing when he sells out stadiums not in London including the USA (outdoor record). For info Cardiff is in Wales and no where near London and has a massive stadium you may have seen it from AJ fights.

You know those stadium scenes in the Michael B Jordan Rocky.. that's in Evertons stadium in Liverpool ... no where near London .. apparently Katie Taylors next fight will be at Croke Park huge Stadium in the Republic of Ireland.

You got to admit the guy can sell out lots of stadiums and not just in London England.

WTF is Pig snout ranting about? Gayweather promotions has no stars. Once Stank leaves it's over for them. They have nobody, no stars. Even on PBC their PPVs have been disasters.

I won't get into the promotional debate, but about Davis, well, he barely beat Cruz, and some think he lost.

They also hype their fighters, as they should. But it doesn't seem easy to do business with PBC and Al. One would think a Davis vs Haney fight would be quite special.

Haney has proved he can take a lower salary, and give up advantages. That can be seen in him being willing to go to Australia.

It's good business to obviously want the biggest payday, but some of these fighters and their managers and promoters are too greedy.

Only two fighters today have gone beyond the mainstream to an extent, Fury and Canelo. There is one fighter I believe has the potential to be as great and famous as Mayweather, and that man is Jaron Ennis.

But I digress, let the best fight the best.

Hard to say he has no stars in the US when he’s just promoted a Canelo fight and has him under contract for the next fight too, promoted 4 of his last 5 fights. Yeah you can say Canelo is pretty much a free agent but aren’t all the PBC guys technically free too?

Mayweather promotions only has Davis and he’s looking to be leaving in a few weeks time. He’s hardly a big star anyway.

Of course Eddie hasn’t got many big stars, because there’s barely any big stars in USA anyway. The biggest name is Mexican. Crawford, Spence etc could walk down pretty much any street in USA or the world and nobody would know who they are. If we’re talking about building stars, well he’s only been in the American game a few years. There’s not really been any true American crossover star since Floyd and he’s about 45 and been retired half a decade, so Ellerbe should look in his PBC mirror and ask why they haven’t created any in about a decade.

DAZN has spent a lot, but that’s how they got fighters like Canelo, GGG etc,

PBC were also spending a fortune in their early years to compete with Golden Boy and Top Rank, so they overpaid everyone to lure fighters away. Paying the likes of Santa Cruz millions to have 12 round borefests against factory workers. Not much different to what DAZN were blowing money on.

Not that I’m a Hearn fan, I’ve criticised him a lot and he’s as slimy as any promoter but Ellerbe is talking rubbish here.

Last I checked Canelo was Mexican. He signed with Dazn for 3 fights for LESS money than PBC was offering because he thought it was the path of least resistance. He thought he was going to beat Bivol then beat Golovkin in the Fall. Those are the facts. CANELO DID NOT TAKE THE LARGER OFFER FROM PBC BECUASE HE WAS SCARED TO FIGHT BENAVIDEZ AND CHARLO which equal more money by MUCH HARDER CHELLENGES.

AND YES AS MUCH AS SOME DON'T AGREE WHILE I LOVE HANEY AS A FIGHTER HE HAS NOT ACHIEVED PPV STATUS WHERAS TANK HAS.

NOW ONCE HANEY BEATS KAMBOSOS @SS THEN WE HAVE A PPV FIGHT. AFTER HE BEAT KAMBOSOS TWICE, TANK AND HANEY SHOULD ABSOLUTELY FIGHT.

WHO IN THE WORLD THINK CRUZ BEAT DAVIS = NO ONE. WTF I haven't seen ONE boxing site or boxing commentator say or display a card that said CRUZ won the fight. Sorry your boy Cruz got beat. But he lost so deal with it.
