Why can't the 4 bodies do a unification series every 4 years or so? Take all 4 belts, have semi-final and final to find a number 1 dude. Then that dude can either defend or drop the belts depending on whatever he wants to do. Have it every 4 years like a World Cup or Olympics and make it something special, do it on PPV and make that money.

It is great to have a unified champ but it makes no financial sense. It is better to collect them and let them go since they all want their 3%. That is why superstars get the different treatment because the 3% of their purse goes long ways.

Well...it kinda makes sense when you realize you lost a fight but won the scorecards. It means that you get another decent payday as a remaining belt holder.
