Nothing against him, but the whole, "first in the four belt era" thing is very diminished in meaning. Essentially its dismissive of fighters from more than just a couple decades back; why, because they didn't have an extra sanctioning body? Seems asinine.
Lets say in a few years a new sanctioning body comes around, does that mean that accomplishments from now are any worse because they didn't do it in the 5-belt era?
Moreover, I see this as being as much of an accomplishment of his team- being able to make the fights for him when he was still good enough to win it. Although, more and more lately, it seems that those things that determine a boxer's worth are how good his promoter is. Its not just your ability in the ring that counts, its how good your team is at getting you fights and getting them your way.
