Yeah me. More accurately, 20% interested at LHW, but...

160% interested at SMW for all the belts. Just to prove once and for all that the weight class is not as relevant as the gulf in class

not sure there’s going to be a rematch though.
He may have a plan to win. All boers do. But he may be counting the huge cash purse too. The latter more likely. He was outclassed big time. His disabilities which were starkly shown , and the admissions by Hearn are proof enough that they though Bivol was slipping, beciase of his previous 2 fights.

They are too ovious, and deeply ingrained to bealtered. Alvarea is not all that bright enough to completely change his style, skills and tactic, which would all be needed for him to have a chance to win a rematch.

I don’t want to see it no, but I think Canelo has to try to avenge the loss. He always talks about the importance of legacy and this one loss basically has a whole industry saying his whole career was just hype. No matter who he fights and beats this will always hang over him if he can’t avenge it.

Bivol is very interested in an all time payday and chance to secure a place in the HOF, but Russian sanctions have seen a delay in transferring his hard earned purse to his bank account. If international finances don't improve he might be restricted to fighting in Russia

Ali made a pert fair living with rematches though he ducked the Big George rematch. Canelo has been more ambitious, so if he can't get Bivol, then Big Dog, the Russian Chechen now Canadian Beterbiev guarantees drama and can be paid.

Canelo has a lot of fights available to him that would be worth about as much as the Bivol rematch. If he fights Bivol again at 175, which I doubt he will, he’ll do something differently, don’t ask me what.

my thinking is that Canelo will return to the relative safety of 168 but what if Bivol presses for the rematch at 168. Bivol is saying he’s not sure now if he can make that weight but I wonder if that’s true.

Bivols purse isn’t a determining factor in why I’m not interested in the rematch.

He already beat Canelo decisively, I’d prefer to see him in with the top 175lbers.

I don’t hate the rematch, it just doesn’t excite me nearly as much as other fights that can be made.

Probably not at points watching that fight you could see Canelo couldnt put a dent in Bivol

Props for trying higher weight classes but it was a bridge too far
