Rather I would like him to drop the belts so that the prospects, Ennis, Ortiz and Benn, can fight eachother for the straps and unification instead of jumping from prospect to unify champion. Not that I think Ennis has a chance of beating Spence, he's still too green and hasn't faced any top fighter yet.

I do agree with the other poster that said Boots needs a 12 round fight I'm just not sure who will step up and be able to give it to him. Porter was that guy but he retired. Thurman and DSG is a stiff test for him but it'll be career suicide for them if Boots stops them.
I think Charlo is going to 160 with his brother going to 168. Maybe takes one defense first as undisputed, probably against kazoo. Spence goes to 154 win or lose against crawford unless there is a rematch clause for 147 which i wouldn't think there will be. Bottom line i don't think charlo and spence will ever be in the same division.

I like those two and some day they may fight each other but not right now because if Errol was to hurt Jaron Ennis then that wouldn't be good look for the sport. Let's just let the kid continue to develop and get some more championship contender experience under his belt first before calling out Spence. If they were fight now Spence could potentially ruin him and that's real talk.

Ennis must be tested against somebody that will actually come to fight and won`t be scared to death.

            Crowley, Stanionis, Butaev, Avanesyan

Bring on one of these guys.

Why wouldn't it be a good look for the sport if Errol hurt Ennis? These guys are prize fighters, and Boots isn't anybody who needs protecting anyway, so Errol could very well be the guy who leaves the ring hurt.

If Bud and Spence do fight it would be awesome to see undisputed at 147 and 154 fight each other no matter who is standing opposite side of the ring. I agree though that it's likely both Charlos move up 1 weight class and then Bus and Spence both go to 154 after they are done with each other

Spence a real dude, because game recognizes game and he’s given him his props of being good and talented but in saying that he still let you know I’m a beast and you better be ready if this what you want. I also agree these guys falling apart soon as they get in with Ennis!

Boots is 24 years old, two years older than a brash, confident Ali was at the time of the Liston bout.

He thinks he’s ready for Errol. That’s good enough for me. He knows himself, and as a disciple of the sport he knows exactly what Errol brings, and how dangerous that is to anyone including himself. Love the courage and the determination in Boots — the only path to greatness.

Do you remember what happened to the 1996 Olympic Gold medalist David Reid or Fernando Vargas once they both challenged Felix Trinidad for his 154 lbs title. He destroyed them both. Neither man was ever the same afterwards. Trinidad ended David Reid's boxing career and ruined Fernando Vargas' boxing career. So one should think long and very hard for what they you wish for or it just may come true.
