you and others making a big deal about him having so many fights and not too strong of a resume - if he was 30 years old I could understand it - he still has all the time in the world at 25 yrs old - same deal with Ortiz. The issue is that he is avoided - so he can't just make any fight - Tank on the other hand CAN make any fight he wants but he doesn't. Boots has just called out Spence. I don't remember Tank calling out Loma or Lopez when they were champs at 135. Now he is fighting pitbull and rolly - way to keep that zero.

Of course, he has to get the bigger names and tests and then we really see how great he could be.

I'll say this, I see the other top guys, so talented, Crawford, Usyk, Fury, Inoue, Bivol, Shakur and Canelo. Then I look at Ennis. Ennis is clearly the most talented with the eyeball test. I haven't seen a guy like this since Mayweather.

Dare I say Sugar Ray Leonard level, not now, but darn he looks the part.

So basically as soon as he met fighters of a decent calibre. Canelo was a monster beating up BJS at 168(bjs prime 10 years ago at mw) once he fought a current prime in their own weight class(bivol) looks totally different. And agaim Adrien broner suddenly looked trash when he stopped been a weight bully. Spence was levels above his competitors on the way up but soon became human and competetive when he faced fellow world level guys. This whats make fury dominating whyte and wilder(2) all the more so impressive and usyk beating down joshua. Thats prime for prime competetive bouts. Like when naz schooled kelly its really an impressive sight to see two world level guys and one get totally outclassed
          Usyk beating Joshua?

Lol, that chinny guy robotic guy with stamina and heart issues?

          GTFOH!

Fury dominating Wilder was legit though.

People on here giving Boots crap for not fight a Thurman or DSG but those pretend like he doesn't exist. It not his fault he beats all the Lipinets and Dulorme of the world without breaking a sweat.

You don't have all the time in the world at 25 years old, not in boxing at least. I think that's a mistake a lot of boxers have made when they were younger. Look at Andre Ward and Mikey Garcia who went through their contracts disputes at 27 wasted their prime years and were already around 30 years old when they returned. Then you look at Spence who was in Boots same position, he didn't get a meaningful fight until he was 27 years old, and now he's already 32. The years go so quick, these guy's are only fighting 1-2 times a year now and sometimes they go a full year without a fight.

Boots career may end up being underwhelming, all the big dawgs are in their 30s and pretty much have accomplished all their goals and are just wrapping up their careers now and If he does get a fight with Spence or Crawford ect and losses that's pretty much the end of Boots, he should be targeting guy's in his own class like Ortiz Jr because I really don't think the big fish really have any intention of fighting Boots for chump change they'd probably rather move up to 154 first and retire out for more $$$ imo

Pretty much agree with everything you say except about Boots maybe losing more years to a promotional dispute; far as I know he's just got over some issues and now he's got himself a multi-fight deal on Showtime so he will get more exposure and hype - I can see his career going a bit like Golovkins regards he hype and being avoided but it should be better because he is more talented. He has the frame to go to 160 or even 168 so if he stays injury free and assuming he produces he has a long path in front of him. Ortiz is talented too but I think they'll wait until they both have belts before they fight each other - I'd favour Boots as Ortiz is more hittable.

Another back of the head shot KO.

                    Ennis should fight Thurman next.
