They are making worse on the entire sport. Why become champion if you will not face the challengers. It makes money but no sense

He wasn’t ready in ‘18. But he should’ve already been at the competition he’s at now, if not Bes*****, Avenesyan, Kavaliauskas level. Too many midgets so far. Crowley is good fight for him now. Stanionis sucks, I’d put him in with Thurman who looked pretty much done. Thurman could be sacrificed to Ennis if they decide they’ve had enough of Keith and it’ll build Ennis’ profile.

Hasn't faced a Top 10 or Top 5 guy, but wants a shot at Undisputed? Not just yet, Boots! I like the kid, though...I really do.

These top Welterweights need to handle business with each other first. ****, some of these idiots are begging for Boots to face to Spence but aren't we supposed to be pushing for the Bud/Spence fight anyway? Crazy.

He just needs to keep fighting until one of the top guys loses or one of them becomes Undisputed and moves up. We still have Keith Thurman out there but he's not looking in Boots' direction...I don't blame him. I believe he (Keith) and Bud will fight this Summer.

Listen, again...I like Boots, but he's gonna have to wait his turn like everybody had to. You goofy fans are so impatient and illogical that you'll put ANY fight together in your heads and bleat on about it, as if that's gonna make it happen faster. Stop it please.

But what's most unnerving is how relaxed he is while doing it all. Boots enters the ring with a nonchalance and a smile that only leaves him during the periods he needs to chomp down on his mouthpiece. If not for that, he'd be grinning ear to ear, perfectly relaxed and confident that he can dispatch even a top-level, solid welterweight whenever he pleases.

I've just checked his boxing record and see that he's fought a total of 140 minutes. in the rirng, 30 fights, averaging just over 4 mins. ........Hmmm VERY impressive.

I don't count rounds that last 25 secs, I just add the secs together, and get a rough estimate.

Had a look at his Lipinits fight, A long of wide swinging on those long Bob Foster arms.
He has big advantages over whomsoever he fights. Like Fury does.

Boots is ready......but he doesn't have a fan base yet unfortunately.....which isn't his fault....I wish parent company CBS would promote him.....like put him on talk shows, feature commercials, etc.

He has the frame to go to 160 or even 168 so if he stays injury free and assuming he produces he has a long path in front of him. Ortiz is talented too but I think they'll wait until they both have belts before they fight each other - I'd favour Boots as Ortiz is more hittable.
I was just using Ward and Garcia as examples of boxers who probably thought they had all the time in the world at 26 27 and next thing they know they were on the shelf for 2-3 years maybe Boots won't face that but I'm not sure he does have some iron clad deal just a few fight from Showtime which is good but I don't think that's going to get him the big fights because he's still under a different promotional banner and so I wouldn't rule out him becoming disgruntled with his promoter after a while, they kinda all do at some point.

In regards to his weight Boots seems to be in the same boat as Spence, big welterweight but not so big at 154lbs and above. They both have very slim frames. There's a reason why these guys are squeezing down to 147 at 5'10, it's more of an even playing field at 154 they have size advantage at 147

I really don't understand why nobody is talking about Boots vs Ortiz Jr.. these are the type of fights that need to be happening now. Both are on the same trajectory and neither has faced an opponent as good as the other yet..I mean it's a no brainer all these guys just want to go str8 for the big $$ w/ no trials or tribulations SMH... Boots hasn't even went 12 rds as a pro yet so against a guy like Spence I could see Boots looking good for a few rds then gassing out and getting picked apart late and suddenly looking like a guy that has no business in there with Spence..Then what?

A 24 year old guy that is reminiscent of Roy Jones and Mark “Too Sharp” Johnson, regarded by many experts as the hottest prospect since RJJ and you, a virtual nobody in the grand scheme of things see him as nothing special. Wow!

I’m going to get your respond is to cuss me out (although now that I’ve said that …)

That's if he makes it even that far. He seems like that already. Same with Ortiz. I think even less of him. He won't dream to make it to the Victor Ortiz level.
I disagree. Boots is way more talented and skilled than Vernon, Andrae, and Bradley. He is a switch-hitter, has tremendous athleticism, really good defense, tremendous timing.counterpunching, the hardest hitter at 147, plush he can fight on the inside and outside. It's funny you mentioned Vernon because Vernon would probably beat Crawford and Spence who you rank higher than you should. Also, why is Virgil ducking Boots.
