Would Canelo give Bivol a rematch if he beat him in such a one-sided fight? Likely not. He certainly refused GGG a rematch after he “won”. I don’t mind seeing a rematch with Bivol, but Bivol should be calling the shots next time. Location, ring size, weight, purse, etc.

Ohh, it's worse than that - if those 7-5 scorecards were followed with . . . "AND NEW." Do you think Canelo would have given Bivol a rematch? Hell no.

Haters are gonna resort to calling me names again because this is just 100% fact and they can't argue with it. It happened with Trout. It happened with Lara. It happened with GGG.

Forget the rematch doe. No guarantee Alvarez wins it.
Bivol is a difficult fight for anybody in this weight.
He's a boring fighter, actually. He disengages too much.
The highlights in his fight with Smith are not even watchable.

Ramirez is the answer to these types of fighters.
He is bigger, got longer reach and is a volume fighter.

Ramirez is a tough match up for Bivol but its rematch or nothing for canelo at this point nothing else matters.

I think the "haters" are just speaking common sense. Canelo can't beat Bivol and the fight wasn't competitive. There are bigger, more competitive fights out there.

This post is based on the premise that Canelo was under motivated and underestimated Bivol

Not an opinion I’ve seen many people share, apart from the usual fanboys etc

He was beaten pretty comprehensively. All for the rematch, but I’d prefer Golovkin 3 then Bivol as to not lose the Golovkin fight. If the fight was actually close, only the rematch would be talked about… but it wasn’t

The thing you gotta ask yourself is who deserves Bivol next, Canelo or Beterbiev? The answer is 100% Beterbiev. But if Arum blocks that fight Canelo can get it again.

Bivol even beats Beterbiev. I don't think Bivol would let Beterbiev get to him.
He's good at capitalizing on mistakes and that's were hell would break loose for Beterbiev.

                      Better demand Ramirez vs Bivol.
