Where did the whole ‘Kovalev is an alcoholic’ come from?

these are usually started by fans who dont like what they are seeing with their guy as far as i can see, he probably did like his vodka but i doubt it ruled his life in his prime, maybe he hit it as his career declined would be more likely

John David Jackson, Kovalev's former trainer pretty much said Kovalev was drinking really heavy before the rematch with Ward. And that during one of the events before the 2nd fight came in drunk in front of Ward and his team. Not sure if he's an alcoholic but based on this and other things I've heard, it's pretty obvious Kovalev is a heavy drinker.
