Charlos. He had a draw and a loss. He won a vacant title, then beat Jeison Rosario and then Brian Castano after a draw. Crawford and Canelo dominated their competition and its not like any of the 3 beat a great fighter at the weights that they became undisputed in.

All deserve credit for what they did.

BUT......none were in a glamour division. The first fighter to become UNDISPUTED in a glamour division gets the max praise.

You make valid points. But Castańo was the most game opponent any one of them faced.

Not sure what makes him more game than Viktor Postol or BJS were. Feel like youre only saying this because Charlo struggled in the first fight. Going into the fight most thought Charlo would win easily

Again I never claimed these guys are world beaters but you hate on them way too much, they're much better than you give them credit for, theyre not avi yildirim type bums.

I say more game because Brian had to go fight on ESPN vs their house fighter Texieria and take his belt. Plus he fought Lara to a draw (which I had Brian winning). That, along with his TWO performances against Charlo, lets me know he is a game fighter.

Postol is for sure a game fighter, his win against Matthyse proves that......but that is all he had. After that he proved to be game but in a bunch of losing efforts.

Nothing about Billy Joe Saunders EVER indicated he was a game fighter.

I would say Crawford for sure. He had the luxury of Top Rank’s incredible matchmaking. He now decides to fight good names, but that are close to retirement/not seen as top fighters anymore.

Having an 0 means 1 of 2 things.

                1. You are actually great, with a resume full of elite fighters.

Or 2. You are good, but have been protected/cherrypicking and have a very lame resume. And no one in their right mind would say Crawford’s resume is full of elites. He is absolutely category 2.

Charlo has losses but that was against actual top prime fighters. Charlo also fought and beat undefeated top fighters who were hyped up. He defended his belt against the best. Win or lose, Jermell Charlo fought the best whether you like it not. I refuse to sh/t on fighters who fight the best, just because they have some losses.

Canelo was in his 5th weight class and still fought The Ring champion there. The guy has fought the best since 154, he gets a pass for JUST fighting the champion and two other top 5 ranked SMW fighters.

154: Mayweather (Ring #1), Lara (Ring #2), Trout (Ring #3), Rhodes (Ring #4)
160: GGG 2x (Ring #1), Jacobs (Ring #2), Cotto (Ring champ)
168: Smith (Ring champ), Plant (Ring #2), Saunders (Ring #4)
                175: Kovalev (Ring #2), Bivol (Ring #2)

I think his track record of taking tough fights make it okay for Canelo to “only” go for the 168 champions instead some green kid who was dropped, humiliated and beaten by Ronald Gavril.

Going into to Canada to beat David Lemieux was pretty cool
