Charlo hasn’t been sabotaging himself. He’s doing the same thing everyone around 160-168 is doing, Waiting for a canelo fight. He just tried to fight Munguia, who was scared. GGG will not fight him.

He will not fight Andrade. That is the same as every MW for the reasons we all know. I agree he should fight Adames or a devrychenko rematch.

No we don’t need everyone waiting for Canelo. But let’s not only hold this against just charlo.

I doubt his brother is looking toward a canelo fight. I also think because jmw charlo is smaller these guys may not be scared.
Is there really a noticeable size difference between the twins? Jermell made weight easily in the Castano rematch, but before then, it felt like his body was ready to move up. Maybe he took his conditioning extra seriously for the Undisputed occasion? His performance last night makes me believe that he should stay at LMW.

As for Jermall: he took 9 months off (September '20 to June '21) from his victory against Derevy, and faced Montiel. Then, Jermall took another a year off, ignored Andrade, and is returning in June to face Sulecki who has previously lost to Andrade. Jermall can use the politics excuse for Munguia, but Hearn seemed willing to pay Jermall handsomely or allow Andrade to fight off DAZN. If we're to believe that the fighters have most of the control and that guys like Hearn/Haymon simply present boxers with options, then the "money" or "politics" excuses aren't applicable to the Jermall/Andrade match-up. Jermall has chosen to enact his personal vendetta against Andrade by NOT fighting him, instead of actually laying hands on him.

And NO, I don't give Munguia and GGG a pass for avoiding Andrade. At least GGG had the "money" excuse with Murata and Canelo, but IDK what GBP's ultimate plan is with Munguia. I'm gonna assume that GBP will try and make GGG/Munguia if GGG can't get Canelo next.

Tell me, what is the most logical match-up to make when there are two boxers that seemingly nobody else wants to fight? THEY FIGHT EACH OTHER!

TLDR: Jermell should stay at LMW and reign, and Jermall needs to do SOMETHING to inject some excitement back into his career.

There is. Mall is taller and has a thicker build. You can honestly tell in the neck and face outside of the obvious tattoos etc. Mall being able to make 160 at this point is pretty amazing to me whereas Mell being at 154 seems just right.

Quality win by Charlo. I’m not a fan of either twin and I think Castano won the first fight but Charlo stepped on the gas during the second half and forced the stoppage.

You don’t express any anger at any other group of casual fans other promoters market to.

Now I know you’re not like some on NSB but a comment like this reads as if it’s a bad thing that Haymon markets in a way to build from untapped consumer base. We know what the majority of these fans look like.

Why call that group low IQ and happy to be thrown a crumb? They are no different than other casual fans that don’t follow boxing regularly yet you’ve never labeled them this way.

How do you expect the sport to grow if the base of fans isn’t expanded?
I'm speaking about Tank only and his imbecile fans like that guy who **** rides him and Haymon. Praising the guy for charging people $75 for sh**t fights is ridiculous. Last night we got an elite level fight on Showtime from the same outfit and I gave them credit and always will when they put those kind of shows on. They're robbing people to watch Tank fight at this point. His fights may be fun to watch but they're not even close to worthy of PPV prices

Let's discuss this once Munguia and ggg have fought Andrade or Charlo

Charlo doesn't need to do anything

I didn't say who I felt would win if they are all matched up together. But you're ultimately right, Jermall doesn't 'need' to do anything. Just like Quillin didn't 'need' to fight Golovkin, yet he fought Daniel Jacobs instead and got his head knocked off. One way or another, things will eventually get sorted out.
