Controversial Opinion: I think Ennis beats Crawford and Spence

The dude is almost a perfect fighter. He has a good defense, great counter-punching, great accuracy, the best jab at 147, can fight on the inside and outside, is arguably the hardest puncher at 147, and he is the most athletic.

I see him and Crawford getting into a firefight and Ennis catching Crawford and stopping him in the late rounds. I see Spence and Ennis having a war but Ennis being able to fight in the pocket just as good and Spence, plus being bigger, faster, and more athletic, will win him a decision. Thoughts?

I like Crawford against Spence and Ennis, but I think Ennis has a shot to stop him in a firefight. I don't think he would beat either by decision and less likely to stop Spence. Spence doesn't take a ton of risks and is extremely disciplined in his approach. I just don't think Ennis has the experience to step in with them yet.

Edit: Unless of course Spence goes looking for his mouth guard, it would be game over.

I think his youth and athletism will trump their experience but we won’t know unless they actually fight. At the elite level it’s going to be about gameplanning and adjustments.

Right now, Boots is making adjustments off of intuition and physical talent. We have to see how he does when the guy across the ring feels like no one on the planet can beat them.

Boots has very nervous energy and they’ve moved him well. I think he’s at the pinnacle of his confidence and composure right now. So he’s extremely dangerous.

Good fights but we probably won’t see it at 147.

More Talented and Physically Gifted than Both Fighters For Sure...however than alone doesn't guarantee anything obviously but the longer they wait to fight him the more difficult it will be to beat him

Even without Spence and Crawford, I look forward to seeing Boots vs Vergil Ortiz, Stanionis, BENN and the rest of the younger next ERA of Welterweights too

He will be the next reigning champ because Bud is gonna beat Spence then move up leaving all the belts vacant for Boots to clean up one by one. Ortiz will grab one and 13 years from now they'll fight for undisputed lol

Everyone is a monster fighting all these unproven unknown low-tiers. He stopped the glass chin Dulorme similarly. Who’s to say Clayton ever had any durability or balls? Lipinets who has a proven toughness (but zero defense) handled his punches (even that blatant rabbit punch, and many lowblows) much better. So just like what you saw with Zepeda, things change big time when you step up.
