    Bivol should NOT rematch Canelo

Dude beat Canelo 10-2 and still damn near got robbed. In the rematch they will try even harder to rob Bivol, because Canelo's career will be on the line this time. Fck that. Let Canelo live with his loss.

Bivol-Beterbiev needs to happen next if Beterbiev gets past Smith, which I think he will.

Bivol vs Beterbiev is the fight for the true boxing fans.

He’s doing a Jordan Peterson diet for the rematch.

Canelo has a rematch clause though.

I would like prefer Bio to fight the Beterbiev/Smith winner too but it’s unlikely to happen. The first obvious reason is $$$ like always. The Beterbiev/Smith winner won’t bring Bivol 25% of the money a Canelo rematch will. The second reason is there has to be a crossing of promotional lines. Beterbiev/Smith are with Top Rank and Bivol is with DAZN. Those two flat out don’t work together.

My hope is that the loooong history of Canelo getting crooked scorecards got exposed in the Bivol fight. Bivol should emphasize this in the pre fight build up. It should help him take away that 4 round lead, before the bell rings advantage Canelo always gets.

You need to absolutely dominate 7 rounds to get a decision against Canelo. Just winning rounds isn't good enough.

Bivol can go to 168, cash in 10-15 millions, lose a close fight (judges will rob him if he is not as dominant as he was first) and then return to 175 and move on with his career.

I think the reason why he is offering a rematch at 168 is because he knows that Canelo's team won't go near him again at 175.

I get that for the OP he’d rather see Bivol fight Beterbiev, me too, but neither of us is going to be paying Bivol the difference.

Although I agree, I think Bivol beats him even worst in a rematch. This kid is extremely smart, people underestimated his ring IQ, myself included.

None of that s.hit is going to happen because Canelo has a rematch clause for September.

come September the only fight Bivol will have is either Canelo at 175 again or Canelo at 168 for all his belts there.

On the bright side, at least Bivol can demand 50/50 split now. He now has that leverage with him.
