This is exactly why Parker should never have relinquished the Britiah title. He's now without a dance partner where as he could have defended against the likes of John Ryder & Lerrone Richards ETC & maybe won a Lonsdale belt outright. As it stands he could well retire without having a meaningful belt to display. having said that maybe Frank could set him up with EBU champ Kevin Sado.

Not one singular person outside the UK gives a rat's ass about the British title or the EBU title.

He's trying to become the mandatory challenger for the WBO title. That's far, far more important than worthless regional belts.

Based on recent events, Canelo wasn't going to fight Andade anyway, even worst with his movement at 168 than Bivol at 175. Which one would you be willing to fund? Andrade went up to 168 to try and force Canelo into fighting him by becoming mandatory to the WBO. If he can force canelo to drop the title if he doesn't face him, it looks bad on canelo. But he's not going to come close to getting the fight by staying at 160. However, he didn't like the fact he had to travel to face Parker. I knew from the start he wasn't going to take it. Americans hate travelling. They'll do everything and anything to make sure it doesn't happen unless it's at home. Americans have the worst away win/loss ratio in world boxing. It's almost a guarantee they lose if their opponent is decent or better.

I have no idea what you mean with Zhanibek. He was mandatory to the title. Andrade either faces him or he doesn't. But it was the best fight he could get at 160. I agree about moving up to chase Canelo if he actually goes through with the correct proceedings. But now he hasn't, it looks really bad for Andrade.

Matchroom can do no more for him so he isn't with them any more. So no more big cheques for fighting garbage. And if he couldn't make any moves with them, he sure as hell isn't going to make moves without them. No one will pay him the money he wants for nothing in return. I think his career is over after this. He's dug his own grave.

And yes, Parker would have beaten Andrade. He would have made Andrade fight on the front foot. Andrade loops his punches when doing so and is wide as hell. Just fire the straights down the pipe and you're good to go. Parker had the reach and size to make it really count. He's dodged a bullet here.

He has some serious commitment issues to his career. He has passed up some names with the reasoning being that of a superstar boxer who has paid his dues. I still remember him saying he doesn’t want to fight Erislandy Lara because Lara is boring. Talk about not throwing stones from a glass house. And pulling out of a Charlo fight a month ahead of the fight. This guy’s career is incredibly terrible. I can’t believe that such a fighter has even one fan. I jumped off that bandwagon as soon as he pulled out of the Charlo fight.

But his small fanbase won’t care, they still will blame everyone else for Andrade’s shortcomings. Nothing is his fault.

Morrell would be a good fight as well. Morrell even called Benevidez's bluff. But it won't happen. He'd prefer to face shot fighters who are smaller than he is, or complete bums.
