Generational? I can pick about a dozen young guys that will be better and have more talent than Ennis. I don’t see anything that says he’s going to be that good. In fairness he has looked excellent but it’s so so early in his career. Just broke out of the prospect category and is entering contender status. This isn’t a slight on Ennis or a stab against you Chep - it’s just way too early and the odds of him being a generational talent are very slim.

Of course I'll be rooting for my Countryman... Custio is gonna bring it like he always does... Odds are low though ...

He fought so "scared" against little Lipinets. Terrible style. Backed up the whole fight against someone he was probably much bigger and stronger than.

He wasn't "bringing nothing" in that fight.

He tattooed Lipnets, won every exchange and never took any punishment. He was robbed. The guy’s not a big puncher but a skilled boxer and always comes in top shape.
I like Ennis. His style is more entertaining for sure. Custio Clayton is a step up in competition for him though. If he KOs him I’ll be impressed.

Custio is slick. Boots is as slick or more so. The difference is in athleticism, power and reach. Boots by mid or late ko as his reach will allow him to wear down Clayton. If its not a KO then Boots by wide decision - I'd be shocked at any other outcome.

I don’t disagree with your assessment that it’s way too early to know if he’s a generational talent, but I’ve been watching boxing long enough to notice special talent, even at the prospect stage. Ennis is a very special talent. Again, I’ll be surprised if Clayton wins more than 1 round tonight. If I’m wrong, hunt me down and let tell me how wrong I was lol

The last 4 rounds he did. Before that it was back and forth with Lipinets winning the early rounds.

I think Boots wins this fairly easily, I guess we'll see.

I wonder if Clayton can last 12 rounds.
