    Dominicano,

Do you expect Floyd to be aggressive in rounds 1/2? Do you think it's possible that he can buzz the slower Marquez early? If he catches marquez, it can become a Manfredy situation.

I'm trying to figure out how to bet....how would YOU bet?

That's actually not just JMM's problem but the whole problem with this fight. Both are natural counterpunchers. Both have been known to stink it out to get the win in the past. Neither would be comfortable engaging. I hope I'm wrong, but this is why the fight hasn't received as much buzz.

Marquez's best hope is to make the fight as boring as possible.

Ya know, i thought that, too. but th problem with a boring fight is that it is a low-punch count fight. And the few punches that do land become more important.

Who do you trust to land the "flashier-looking" punches, Floyd or Juan? That means that the judges would be giving PBF those rounds. Esp if Marquez'
            face shows damage (it will).

2501, what you are describing is the opposite of what some trainers (including Nacho) are saying. They think that floyd defends well against punches 1,2 and 3....but punches 4 and 5 are the ones that land.

The more I think about what Steward said, the less meaninful the few pounds become. Feeling that Manny was right. Floyd may have a five pound advantage,,, but it's not like he's going to be swarming JMM.

JMM fought Pac at a four pound deficit.

                I'm worried as fuck. But...

Go with Mayweather, Mayweather's alot more confident then we think. When the fight was announed Mayweather grabbed Marquez, spinned him towards himself and continued to stare down Marquez, ignoring the guy in the background saying, "Look into the camera!", Mayweather then turned away saying "I'ma slay him, I'ma kill him, I'ma kill him!". Recently he also said, "I'm coming to seek and destroy!". Goes to show how confident Mayweather is, the layoff may have a good or bad affect on him, I honestly don't know. But Mayweather is VERY confident.

Also remember, Mayweather isn't happy with Pacquiao getting so much credit with Mayweather's last two opponents. People constantly bringing up, how Pacquiao did a MUCH better job against Mayweather's last two opponents. Mayweather's objective isn't only to win but leave Marquez's lifeless body at Pacquiao's front door. He might dominate for all we know.

                Hope that helps.

The opportunity for great reward is too much for the Marquez camp to pass up so I doubt they would make it boring fight, but waiting for Floyd to make a mistake rather than opening up allowing the faster, equally accurate and more powerful PBF to counter and sneak in right hands.

As far as using combination punching to do damage and scoring, Floyd has fought fighters in the lower classes who have thrown many combinations. But of course, the shoulder roll and patience of Floyd is too much for them to be effective.

The only way I can see Juan scoring is counterpunching or outsmarting Floyd with faints and timing. This is a monstrous uphill battle which I'm very curious to see JMM figure out.

                    But it's almost 4:1.

I can't make any money betting "floyd to win". I either have to bet the rounds or the method of victory.

I was gonna place a hundy or two on "marquez to win". But you think a FMJ stoppage is likely? Really?

DLH overdid the whole 4, 5 and 6. Mayweather can counter off the shoulder roll, I see no 4, 5 and 6.
