Dmitry Bivol is a relatively small light heavyweight, he likely pulls off a similar performance like his last fight. Even if Canelo came better prepared with a different strategy Bivol would adjust.

There is no shame on losing to a champion from a weight class above, but styles make fights and Bivol has his number.

As another poster stated awhile back, Bivol needs to be careful not to do a Chad Dawson.

Bivol in my opinion, needs to retract and dismiss moving down to 168 pounds to fight Alvarez 'Soon as possible'.

It does not matter if he thinks he can make the weight. Of course Bivol can make the weight 'But he is not going to be a better fighter at 168 pounds'.

It is a fact that none of his attributes or skills will be improved at 168 pounds, they will all decreased etc.

175 or 168, either way both fighters are coming prepared next time around and it will be entertaining. Canelo didn't seem as Zen as he is at 168. I think it definitely can even things out if Bivol comes to 168. Bivol should consider it seriously. Who cares about your 0, when you are getting the Canelo lottery plus a chance at fully unified in another division? Take the risk, go for the glory. Just make sure you accept ****** or something so you can get paid this time lol

I know how the business works... but it's crazy to think he'd have to come down a division for a rematch of a fight he won.

If Canelo wants to prove something then it only really works at 175.

And Canelo likely will be improved at 168.

Wasn't he trying to prove he could beat LHWs?

Maybe Canelo can beat Usyk after all. Just has to get him down to middleweight on a few months' notice.

Power play, Alvarez can do these things because? He is big business for these fighters.

They will take that risk 'And he knows it'. In some ways, I think it shows how business driven fighters are.

I was never really bothered about Alvarez vs Bivol. But since Alvarez has been now beaten, this makes the rematch for me a big fight 'Only at 175 pounds'.

                    Fight should be at 175

He shouldn’t have been mentioned 168

He hasn’t fought at that weight and he won’t know until he’s in the ring if he he can perform at the same level.

You cant win a weight class belt at a higher weight, it has gotta be the limit or below, not above,
