At 175 or 168? He'd break him down worst than Kovalev IMO, the guy proved he has no heart and dog in him to deal wth adversity.

i scored ward vs sakio bika a draw. ward headbutted his way to victory against kessler, punched kovalev in the nuts a bunch, ducked the toughest fights in the super six fighting at home while everyone else traveled. nevermind canelo, golovkin beats ward. most overrated fighter of the last 15 years. bivol would beat ward. where was all of the breaking down in the first kovalev fight that pretty much everyone thought kovalev won? your boy got knocked down by kovalev's jab and some random barnell boone ass guy.

yeah, canelo has a chance against ward because he has nowhere near the boxing ability of bivol. i don't even root for canelo.

You know I watched ward vs Kovalev 1 the other day, man what a robbery.

Wonder how Kovalev career goes if he wasn't robbed there

He’s really a bigger man. Bivol is too. The other 168 pounders were taller but not thicker. Big men can take a small man’s punch. That’s most of Canelo’s problem. Bivol had no reason to fear him cause he can’t hurt him. He’s also a very good boxer much like Sanders, Brook, & Plant we’re out boxing him. They just could take his power. 175 pounders can. It’s not rocket science. Well for some it is

Styles make fights and Canelo-Ward would be an ugly, timid fight for most of the fight. 2 low-activity counter punchers, and one of them (Ward) likes to get rough vs other good boxers.

Ward's best fight boxing-wise that I ever saw for him was vs Kessler, and that fight still ended very unfortunately and controversially.

Literally every other fight I saw him in, from Bika level on up to Kovalev, I saw him basically lose as many rounds as he won. He was no FMW Jr.

Imo Canelo-Ward would be a matchup of the 2 most protected 'top' fighters of the past 10-15 years. Just thinking about it happening makes my head spin because I couldn't imagine the 2 of them ever agreeing to any type of terms for a fight.

And the actual fight would probably be an absolute sh.ithouse fight where both sides are unhappy about anything that goes on.

I hate you for even bringing this fight up and having me think about it - jk but not really

                  Ward is too big.
                  Ward beats Biv

Ward beats Nelo worse than Biv did.

Ward will get DQ'ed against Nelo. he doesn't have the physical gifts that Bivol does.

He doesn't have super fast feet nor fast hands. that's why he relies on fouling. wrestling, headbutts and nutshots. He'd lose against Nelo
