Who gives a **** about Sr and Roger? They just supportin cast. Mr boat buyer has the talent to be gr8 for the sport, but it's pointless if he refuses to fight the right fights.

I'm not ready to hang him out to dry just yet. But in the event that he doesn't fight the winner of Pac/Cotto, I'm going to have a hard time finding something positive to say about him.

Most will disagree with you. De La Hoya-Mayweather was the biggest boxing event in terms of money generated. The HW division is pretty much on life support right now.

The Mayweathers are well respected by those in the know in boxing circles.

I don't think people in boxing circles really respect the mayweathers'. IMO

I wouldn't call them scumbags, but I wouldn't call them a positive influence either.

Ok, how about if we call them douche bags you think it's more appropriate:

The thug demeanor that the OP is referring to is becoming more and more apparent over the last several years, while it won't tear the sport apart persay, it will drive away casual fans and longtime boxing fans

Or, it will continue to do what it's always done. Make people tune into Mayweather's fights, in hopes of seeing him beaten within an inch of his life.
