Pacquiao moved up 8 weight division; Mayweather moved up 5 weight division. Alvarez has moved up 7 weight classes starting his career at 140...all fought champion, killers & excellent boxers.

Crawford has moved up 2 weigh classes & the best fighter he's fought during the move is Shawn Porter...he's not a champion, killers & excellent boxer when they fought.

I will always be respectful unless people disrespect me.

Let's forget about that. I think most people will agree, if Bud beats Spence, that will be more of an accomplishment than anything Alvarez has done in his career right?

Also, wait, Canelo moved up 7? Even if he started at 140, that's 6 classes not 7. And Bud was in 3 not 2. Also, Canelo never won't belts at 140 and 147 did he? He won belts in 4 classes, but let's be real, the Kovalev fight as a joke and this weekend proved that.

IMO it's really 3 classes for each, but if you wanna say 4 for Canelo, Bud could have easily gone to 154 a year ago and stolen Texiera's belt. I'd even favor him to beat the Charlo Castano winner.

        ABSOLUTELY!

Because while Bivol is a good fighter & a champion & I do consider what Alvarez did daring even in defeat....Spence is a special fighter that is unified champion.

Beating (Crawford would have to beat him because the weigh class move is not a big deal) Spence (a special fighter who is unified champion) will eclipse Alvarez & Usyk accomplishments moving Crawford back to #1 on my P4P list.

But as it stands now, Alvarez has the better resume & accomplishment than Crawford.

Eddie Hearn was the one who advised them to fight Bivol and he admitted that the reason they picked him was because he looked average against Richards and Castillo. Canelo, like all of the media, fans, fighters, and most people on this forum, thought Bivol was a basic 1-2 Euro fighter w high guard defense and no skill. He thought it would be an easier win than Charlo or Benavidez and it backfired like crazy. Nobody in the world thought Bivol had a chance including the "experts", so you can't say he was daring to be great.
          What do you mean nobody?

I said Bivol KO10, it is a shame he did not step on the gas and I am pretty sure he left that door open for a rematch.

But unless he rematches and beats Bivol, the 'how high can he go?' debate is over, If it isn't already.

That was the storyline that was elevating him to insane heights and bringing in casuals. Without that he's just another top fighter in the middle weight categories.
Thanks to Bivol, we are at least saved of debates how Canelo beats everybody around, including Usyk.

As you said, that storyline is over.

Canelo can barely put a combination together without tiring himself out and we started seeing that as he moved to 160, then 168 and now 175.... except he only fought basic folks at 168, a WAY past prime, DRAINED Kovalev who was there for a paycheck.... and with GGG.... well.... Canelo can thank the judges for saving him from THAT loss.

Canelo is a natural 160 lb fighter.
Alvarez was not knocked down, or on the brink of being stopped at any point in the fight.

He was beaten, but not beaten up.
