It’s only downhill for Canelo Alvarez now

If he takes the Bivol rematch he will get beaten up even worse. Bivol’s got his number mentally and physically.

He can go back down to 168. But after seeing Bivol crack the code, guys like Benavidez will be full of confidence.

He can fight 40yr old GGG again but gains nothing. Afterwards he will still have to face the lions.

He can’t just fight some bum, he’ll get too much criticism.

Lastly he is getting older and has a lot of wear and tear himself…. the corrupt judges will abandon him soon for someone younger.

He still has some fights left, but the best days are past him.

It's possible, he has been fighting professional since 15 he is about to be 32. I would not be surprised.

You are probably right on almost everything.

Alvarez has that bully mentality which, once shattered, causes a swift decline. Either he learned a lesson and improves, or its indeed downhill from now on.

It will be interesting to see how he reacts to this loss, aside from the "I had done enough to win" bullshìt.

Canelo faces GGG again someone getting stopped and I would put my money on Golovkin stopping Canelo late in the fight, which will officially end the Canelo hype train. Canelo then takes 2 year hiatus and returns against Steve Rolls.

            The walls are closing in.

Benavidez wlll be full of confidence. Andrade and Charlo too. Also, there's this guy David Morrell who is even more dangerous than those 3.

Maybe he just says he's a middleweight again and fights GGG and Munguia.

LOL. One loss against a guy that's not even in his weigh division and it's over.

Andrade and Charlo are garbage. Benavidez should be Canelo's next target after the GGG fight in September.

Although, if he wanted some easy wins, he should go after Andrade and Charlo.

Even if you think they're trash, you have to admit that David Morrell is the real deal. And he is not far at all from a title shot at 168.

Didn't David Morell get hurt or dropped or looked like ass in his last fight? 6-0? Come on, too early to tell.

If you think Andrade or Charlo is an easy win you’re a lot dumber than I thought.

Even a simpleton like you realizes that if you jab and work off that jab with combinations you can have success against Canelo.

Canelo is still great but if you watch Trout, Lara, Dloyd Ggg and Bivol fights there is a clear pattern.

Only question is how will the judges score it. That said, imo Canelo is far from finished.
