Big weekend of fights with action on Friday and a full slate on Saturday:
(Friday May 13)
Daniele Scardina vs. Giovanni De Carolis: I'm not too impressed with Scardinia but De Carolis is pretty shopworn and I'm not sure he has the skills to overcome his younger opponent.
(Saturday May 14)
Tony Yoka vs. Martin Bakole: Possibly the toughest test to date for Yoka, I expect the Frenchman to win but he has a dangerous opponent in front of him.
Sergey Kovalev vs. Tervel Pulev/Kubrat Pulev vs. Jerry Forrest: Krusher's last run most likely. Kubrat and Jerry should make an interesting matchup. Kubrat is old but I expect Jerry to do enough to lose close or deserve a draw (and lose).
Gilberto Ramirez vs. Dominic Boesel: I guess Yuniesky Gonzalez wasn't shopworn enough in his last bout, Boessel should provide a nice highlight KO for Zurdo in this one.
Jermell Charlo vs. Brian Castano II/Boots Ennis vs. Custio Clayton: The crown ***el of the weekend. Heart says Castano, head says Charlo clips him in a thriller. Boots will emerge victorious after it takes him a few rounds to figure out his Canadian opponent.
Can't wait!
